as long as its the kids competing and progressing, i have no problem with it. Don't get me wrong, getting a first overall pick for many years (ala edm) is nice, but constantly being the worst team would really push me away from watching. But if theyre the worst team because the kids are learning, and im not expecting them to compete for a few years while we go through growing pains, im okay with it.

Niskanen's cross check on Crosby was nasty. :heckno:

Sid was caught in a vulnerable position when Ovi slashed him and put him off balance when Niskanen cross checked him.

Looks like more so gloves to the face then a cross check. Also they way he falls he twists so he is face first at chest level. Niskanen was protecting himself from another player falling into him. Unfortunate play and outcome for Crosby,but no way that is dirty or suspension worthy.

It wasn't the slash that put him off balance it was Ovi's right skate hitting Crosby's left skate.

Yep no way it was the slash, and then the cross check was just the reactionary shot/braceto the ribs that players get for going towards the net, but his face was there instead.

^admittedly don't watch regular season Nashville games often but agree their playoff games seemingly have great fans in attendance.

Their regular season games as far as what I can see and hear on TV are pretty good as well. Now I have zero experience watching a hockey game live in any other arena other than Rogers Arena but when I watch games on TV I can always hear the crowd getting into it on TV other than maybe Florida/Carolina/Arizona although sometimes even their smaller crowd sounds better. When I watch Canucks games hosted in our City on TV i rarely hear the crowd come through on the TV and of course in person has always been pretty sad imo. It doesn't mean the Canucks fan base as a whole is weak but the crowd that makes it's way to the arena definitely feel different.

Nashville will prolly have 2+ Cups before we ever get 1
