Nintendo Switch hype seems to die down a bit in Van. I use to see a few people on the Skytrain playing on their switch when I go to work. Haven't seen anyone playing them anymore.

The portability is a novelty more than anything, in terms of playing while standing around. But it's still a good platform with good games.

They are talking about a hardware refresh next year, possibly with a better screen and I assume slightly better hardware. Maybe I'll get one for myself then

Nintendo Direct released info on the Smash Bros Ultimate game. Looks confusing af with the new spirits. The adventure mode looks legit though. They recommend getting a ethernet adapter to play online which is bullshit. No one wants to plug a lan cable into a switch.

Don't think it'll fit in the door. You have to plug it on one of the ports outside. But still, plugging in a lan cable is not an option for many of us..

Pretty much. I recommend getting the SX Pro. You get a dongle and a jig. The jig is used to load the hack off the dongle.

Keep in mind that there is a chance your console can get banned if you go online for updates. 100% ban chance if you connect online with a game.

It's a good choice for people that don't care about going online or don't mind getting a secondary console for online play, but it's a lot more complicated than the DS/3DS days.

I personally have the sx pro and I have no complaints, the r4 will allow you to load custom firmware but the extent might just be loading homebrew. But in terms of support sx pro has it covered and they are always making improvements.

Be mindful that the newer switches are patched so the jig plus USB c payload will no longer work.Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
