I can venture a guess on why there's not footage or pictures released: because they are still investigating.
I'm not a police officer or anything, but I would assume it's standard practice to not release any information, pictures, or video if police are still investigating the incident. Does the casino have a shit load of video, yes probably, but they're probably not allowed to release as per court order and the police/attorney general have no obligation to release it for your entertainment or to satisfy your curiosity.
Yes there some pictures floating around, but these are "leaked." Nothing official will be released if the police believe the integrity of the investigation is more important than the public's interest to be informed (which is debatable). Also keep in mind this happened five days ago.

Yah, it drove the price of the AR-15 down super low. Even now, you can get a quality AR-15 for less than $700 CAD. It showed big interests for people too. Over at Redflagdeals, people who had no interest in firearms before were now looking into getting licenses and buying one after seeing the thread.
Another conspiracy that's floating around is the shooter is really trying to push for gun control and doing this to push for it.
still trying to find loose threads from real credible sources few days into an investigation that can suggest this is a conspiracy
if you try to attach significance to every little details, nothing will ever seem perfectly logical
what would shooting at thousands achieve for vested groups? America has already proven hurting masses of vulnerable doesn't bring any real change...why would this event be different

This false flag, fake news nonsense has to stop. People thought Sandy Hook was a false flag event, some even think that it never even happened in the first place.
What bizarre logic you would have to carry to think this is a false flag to promote gun control. From who? The majority of politicians in the US are bought out by the gun lobby, where is the money at for pushing forward gun control? A mass shooting occurs on an almost daily basis in the US, no law has been put forward whatsoever to control guns, clearly these "false flags" aren't working all that well, LOL.
It's sad how the internet, once looked upon as the future of our species, has now allowed us to carry our own versions of reality. Realities so far from the actual truth of what is happening, no one trusts basic facts anymore. It worries me where that will take us in the future.

It's not about the money. It's probably more about the 60 million or so gun owners.
That's a population high enough to carry a lot of weight.

All you really gotta do to confirm that is go back and listen to the cab driver’s recording—BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM from close range. Those were NOT impact sounds, those were NOT ricochets. Those were rifle blasts. The ricochets off the pavement sound completely different from the rifle blasts, they have a much higher pitch and sound kinda like cheap firecrackers going off on the ground. The rifle blasts are much deeper. From that video alone you can distinctly hear the sound of BOTH the far away rifle blasts and the nearby rifle blasts. At a minimum there were two shooters dispersing fully auto gunfire, not just one. That leads me to ask the following: Why is the FBI & local law enforcement denying this? They’ve been floating about that Paddock had help for a while but are unwilling to elaborate any further on what kind of help they’re referring to. What gives? Why the secrecy? Why so much mystery?
So this guy had an ak47 (first bullet in pic) and Ar assault rifles (second bullet pic)... the deep sounding fire sure isnt from a gun shooting small bullets.
This supposed bullet wound could be from a second shooter... looks pretty small.

Here is the same victim stating there were multiple shooters.

I will say that the security guard being shot first and and the police taking almost 30 minute after the fact to locate the shooter's room seems interesting...why wasn't the swat given a more precise intel instead of clearing floor-by-floor? also, can't they tell from the broken window? this update certainly raises lots of questions.
if the second shooter theory is supposed to be a cover-up...I think he/she would've been a lot more discrete knowing this would soon be scrutinized under a microscope by forensic nerds worldwide and to opt for a suppressor, similar rounds, similar distance, etc.
They need to plan and brief, gear up, set up, clear the whole floor, check for booby traps. It does seem like a long time but once he stopped shooting they might have been afraid that he was getting ready for the siege with police.

It's at night and all the windows are black and there are hundreds of them.

Did they confirm that his AR rifles were 7.62?
I ask, because most AR rifles are 5.56 calibre. It's a NATO sized round which was actually designed to work with the AR15 rifles, along with a lot of other guns too. I've shot a ton of 5.56 out of a number of different firearms. I've shot with friends who have TAVORs, ARs, ACRs, bullpups, and even had the chance to shoot with a local PD tactical sniper who used a suppressed AR in 5.56 calibre. Pretty much every type of ammunition on the market, including chinese military rounds (which were terrible btw...). The bottom line is that the sound a 5.56 makes will vary based on load size, projectile size, projectile type, barrel length, and shooting area.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear about a second shooter, just like I wouldn't be surprised if it was confirmed that a single shooter did so much damage.
As for the shooting victim, entry wounds are typically small. It's the exit wound that is a mess, as the projectile splinters in the victim's body, and forces it's way out the other end.

Yup - especially when there is a little more fat involved, sometimes the entry wound can close itself up and barely bleed - happened to me on a bear.
I'm not buying the second shooter yet but time will tell.
sorry hobs, but they were terrible.
If I could post pics, I could show you the paper targets where the round penetrated sideways and left a perfect imprint of the side view of a bullet.
Or maybe they were japanese rounds. Those things just drift right in.

Don't make me get in to bullet damage with you again, you moron. With no exit wound that's clearly a ricochet or shrapnel fragment injury. I mean they treated it with a bandaid FFS.
Guy was probably dual wielding. There IS video of overlapping fire from weapons with different pitches. What is curious though is that they've claimed the guy had cameras in the room to record his own massacre, but they didn't see on those recordings when he fired through the door of his room and when he shot himself? The whole thing is just bizarre.

Doesn't it depend on how they were set up/aimed? Unless they were in the corners of a room you're not likely to have full coverage of the place.
