Screw these dicks, lure you in and then jack the price like they did with the $40/6GB plan.... Bell is matching it apparently... they might have more scruples than Rogers/Fido do. |
they wont budge on mine for sure, we just reupped like 10 months ago on a share everything plan. dont even feel like calling in and trying :/ |
I will call Bell tomorrow and find out, I haven't been under contract with them in over a year so hopefully they will give me the deal as well. |
I heard this is for new customers only, so if you're on Rogers you'd have to port to Fido or vice versa |
Sounds great but I'll keep my $50 for 5GB Government Plan. |
Im on the old ass 6gb plan works out to $70 a month wondering if its worth switching over even though they could cancel or change the plan at any given time also considering you would lose any sort of loyalty if you were with rogers/fido for years with the switch. |
i got a rogers old corp 350 gov plan, 5 gig, they bumped it upto 66$ taxes in recently think i might switch |
wait you're providers match them?....telus doesn't give a fuck if i move over, they'll say okay and hang up the phone. |

With that said, someone on RFD reporting that Bell is matching the plan which is no secret by now but the 10gb will be for life vs just for 2 years. |

This $60 10gb deal is an amazing deal with NO CONTRACT. So you can keep switching every time ($25 activation fee). |
Koodo 7GB/$48 no contract atm :alonehappy: |
FYI: I've heard friends call in to their current providers with success to match the plan without the hassle of jumping over Fido <> Rogers. |

So i walked into a rogers store and got it done in 10 mins. Maybe tomorrow they'll smarten up and honor the deal to existing customers. But it's going to be a gong show for the all carriers in the next couple days trying to match one another. |
Can anyone here confirm that the bell 60 for 10gb doesn't have the 24months expire date. |

Anyone know who rules the coverage and LTE speeds domain? Telus/Bell/Rogers/Fido? |
I called into Telus for a family member to switch this or something similar. A good 60 minutes and four different customer service reps later, we went from from 10 months left in a contract, 1GB, local calling plus the ridiculous phone insurance for $105+tax to 6GB, nationwide talk and text for $75 AND we are out of the contract. Still a far cry from my Koodo $50/5GB, but a win nonetheless, as the plan is now month-to-month and we can now switch over to Bell or Rogers without penalty :fuckyea: |
$39 Unlimited everything back when Freedom was Wind Mobile :fullofwin: |
I called Rogers twice today and tried a live chat agent. All agents told me to Port to fido, because they couldn't match the same God damn plan they're offering to new customers - so I did. So I ported my Rogers line and Telus line. My Rogers line ported in 30 minutes whereas my Telus line won't Port because I need to contact their porting department which was closed. Does anyone know why that's happening? I think it's just a ploy to keep my Telus line on Telus and I'm not to happy with them so if they want to keep my service they're going to have to give a little. |
it's a port out comp loss tactic telus uses for mobile and residential |
After 10 years, I gave up my personal line and I'm just sticking with my work line. We have 3gb and about 800 lines. Our data is pooled so I have virtually unlimited data :D |
You'd think Telus would have to roll out a similar plan soon or they are going to lose a shitload of customers. I like Bells deal because the 10GB doesn't expire, but I really know nothing about Bell. |
