only thing working against Gaudette is that he can be sent to the minors without waivers. I agree that he has earned a spot on the team.

Hockey Gaude deserves to stay for sure. If he’s sent down due to the obscene amount of forward we have, he’ll be back. He’s a player.

I agree with the assessment of a lot of people that Gaudette is better served as a leading scorer in Utica, he would be forced to play the wing in Vancouver as neither Beagle or Sutter are going anywhere.

He's had a fantastic pre-season, but he's gotta wait for an injury or for one of those guys to get moved. Numbers game.

I cannot understand Baertschi being sent down, he was the one jumping all those passes and making other plays that Gaudette ended up scoring on half the time.

Bizarre. No way he goes unclaimed although I guess so late in preseason a lot of teams can't afford the roster move with salary caps already set.
