Hong Kong has been around 10 cases a day for a bit, but there appears to be a breakout taking place in fitness centers. One fitness center alone has 30 preliminary cases, 19 confirmed today, and they say it could reach 50+ tomorrow. Several others as well, as members and trainers are spreading it to people who go to other gyms. Just a reminder that going back to the gym isn't something to consider until you've been vaccinated. Not being able to train is doing a number on my mental health; it's something I've relied on to keep me even. I won't lie, it's been rough, but better than risking me and my family to covid. |
^^ what about all the ppl dying after getting the vaccine, or getting sick with negative effects in the hospital, it doesn't seem like there's much of that reported in NA. Not sure if the gov is covering it up here though. |
Went to a fancier, higher-end restaurant last night (i.e. not one that you would think would be typically busy on a weekday) to buy a gift card to find all the blinds in the windows were closed. Knocked on the door to get in, only to discover a large long-table private party being hosted with at least 10 ppl if not more. Naturally I snitched on them and reported it to local bylaw office. Not sure if anything will come of it though. Frustrating to see people gathering and having a great time when we've personally been diligent in avoiding it. Today is the 1 year anniversary of the last time I had a meal with my buddies, wings night at Canadian Brewhouse... :okay: |

Because they actually set up rules and policies to try to curb this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/hongkon...-vaccine-link/ Unlike here how they only had 300 booked appointments for vaccine shots in a day. And why fraser health has online bookings but everywhere else is by phone:rukidding: most people have jobs and can't sit around for 5 hours on hold just to get hung up on. O numbers are going up with other more dangerous variants? Don't worry guys we will reopen in a few weeks.:accepted: |

Chinese Vaccine causes two people with pre-existing conditions to almost die OMG THE BC GOVERNMENT IS COVERING UP ALL THE VACCINE DEATHS!!!!!1111 |
Lol |
Funny how so many vaccines have been mandatory for decades and all of us born in Canada without a doubt have them... and life expectancy continues to increase year over year in all modern countries (COVID not withstanding)... But yes the medical system is out to kill us all. Makes perfect sense. |

-clarification about Dr. Bonnie's new provincial order: Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has introduced a new provincial health order allowing for outdoor social gatherings of 10 or fewer people. The new order comes into effect immediately. Henry said it means British Columbians can meet friends outside and have a coffee or they can meet grandparents outside. The guidelines will require people to socially distance outdoors but will be able to gather at parks and on private property including backyards. However, it should be the same 10 people, Henry said, not different groups of 10 people. There are no changes to the current indoor gatherings. Children will not be able to have sleepovers, for example. |
"Henry said it means British Columbians can meet friends outside and have a coffee or they can meet grandparents outside." What? We weren't allowed to meet friends outside before this new order? |

Think about how many millions of people who are getting the Pfizer/Biontech, and Moderna vaccines in America and around the world. No deaths. Hong Kong jabs a few thousand with this one, and people are getting REALLY sick and dying. Also this vaccine has an efficacy rate of around 50% rather than 95% of the others. Because of this, number of people going in for vaccines are way down. They're doing like 10-15K a day. If you look at the booking page, everywhere has room available for booking. They are starting to open it up for more people. In China they don't give the vaccine to anyone over 60, but they are here, and I think all the deaths are sick people over that age. They also started giving the Pfizer/Biontech vaccine. But again, people here don't trust the government, so not as many people as needed are getting their vaccines. I mentioned the compulsory sign-in when going to restaurants or govt facilities... You can use an app which creates an anonymous hash, and you just scan a QR code to enter. Or alternatively you can leave your name and phone number on a piece of paper. I see WAY more people using that method than their phones, which I find weird because the phone is way more anonymous than your name and number. Unless these people are giving fake numbers, which I suspect but hope isn't happening. No breakouts yet since they started doing this, so we don't know. |
The aatra zeneca vaccine is causing blood clots and at least one person has died, norway/netherlands/Iceland has banned it or put a freeze on it for now https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-56357760 But regulators say they see no sign of an increase in clots |

Lol “now you can go outside” You gotta be a real covid Cuck to not have been seeing people fucking outside in a oark etc. Since sept lol.. Given the variants and whatnot of just because Bonnie says now you can go outside with 10 people now you’re gonna go have a bbq party with elderly parents? Lol..that makes less sense than seeing people outside pretty much anytime before today if you were actually following the rules. |
