Saskatchewan has an indoor mask mandate but some members of the Saskatchewan party refuse to wear masks.

Sask. legislative assembly disagreement over mask use continues as NDP MLA reveals he's immunocompromised

But what do you expect from a province run by a person who crashed his car killing a woman injuring her son and then fled the scene.

I was asking for suggestions on the vaccine.

yes, we can close border, but we can't SHUT down flights from flying into canada as Canadians has the right allow citizens to come home. Also, there are people; essential workers who are allowed to fly to canada. Now... take it with a grain of salt, blueberry farmers hired from Indian / South America are considered.

Regarding masks, YES we can hit a ban and slap 1000 dollar fine. It will work. What won't work is... Cops are here to do REAL crime. eg// suicides, murders, drug busts... i rather they focus on shit like that than being a covid police.
Their skills are better used elsewhere.

eg// dumb use of RCMP / COP resources
- putting up road blocks at every exit of downtown to curve drinking and driving.
- CONSTANTLY writing speeding tickets at every highway
- Have cops at every intersection so less people get runned over during J walking etc..

I honestly feel it's best to use resources elsewhere than trying to have cop constantly writing tickets. again... My own opinion.

Say what you will about the rest, but anti drunk driving stuff is generally considered to be a good idea.

Sigh.....my dad text me he was supposed to get his vaccine today but because it was AstraZeneca he refused it.

I can't argue with him he's never been wrong in his life, I'm like your life your choice. I think he was trying to bait me into an argument lol.

If you take issue with the word "disease" for some reason, just read the original study. This is Lancet, not CNN lol. CNN is just reporting it.

I think the vaccine rollout plan at Whistler is a smart move. A pivot of the rollout plan in order to slow down the spread of the Brazilian variant or the other two variants from Whistler to the rest of BC.

Immunization of all Whistler residents should have been done weeks earlier before we saw these 1000+ daily case counts in B.C.

Recall that the AstraZeneca vaccine is supposed to be effective against the P.1 variant, so deploying that in Whistler would be a smart move.

However, I wonder how well-received it would be by the community there.

A friend's husband received the AZ vaccine before it was restricted to only the 55 - 65 age group because he works at a food processing place. Zero side effects on him.

But I wonder what's gonna happen now (in regards to the 2nd shot).

The RN who gave me my 1st dose said that the vaccines couldn't be mixed and matched. Not sure how that's going to work with the age restriction thing now.

They explicitly said they were not going to do that, both yesterday and today.

Been an hour, so not feeling anything yet. Same anxiety-like feeling as last time. I think I feel my lungs being a bit congested... Will have to keep an eye on that
