I tried to listen to 650 and just couldn't at all, I find it so boring and horrible. It's amazing to me how much of a difference the two radio stations were.

I don't listen to those broadcasts......... only if it's somewhat interesting which, most of the times, they're not. Start up the car and it's on 650 from the night before, lol.

I've felt exactly the same. 650 is generic and boring. The only reason I'm listening to them at all is because there's literally no other alternative. It feels similar to watching the hockey but you're always forced to listen to the other team's commentators who aren't exactly terrible but they're boring as shit.

I’m secretly hoping Don Taylor starts his own media company and everyone comes back on a different station. His legendary status would increase exponentially and I’d like to think he wouldn’t have too many issues finding the talent and financing to pull it off.

I never really thought about it until the station folded but I guess you gotta pay people a pretty penny to be reoccurring guests on the station

At least if they were to start their own station they could probably get plenty of guests for free or close to free given the hosts like Don Taylor etc. Connections. However I guess it gets messy when you want to have people on who work for other networks
