This is great, it's like a free first round pick to be honest. That said, he is just picking the best place for him to rack up points and land a massive 2nd contract I think... hopefully he ends up feeling some loyalty here if he really is as good as advertised.

I know it's unrealistic, but just daydreaming, imagine a Russian line of him, Podz and Nichushkin... absolutely steamrolling everyone on forecheck and rush lol

I would tend to agree that this means Boeser's time with the team is likely over... which is kind of sad. I can't see Boeser as a 3rd liner. If his qualifying offer wasn't $7.5M he'd be back but he's a 5.5-6M player right now and that's on a good year.
