So sloppy |
Uh oh |
GG |
That’s enough hockey for me this year anyways. |
That entire sequence leading to the Too Many Men was caused by Ceci being muscled out at the boards like he's 150 lbs. He and Yamamoto stand out in this way, constantly getting bullied (except Yamamoto actually is 150 lbs) |
I guess I was wrong .. Avs using their 2nd string goalie wasn't a factor at all, if anything, he got a shutout! |
Awful game for Kane this time Hanging Mikey out to dry at the end with the goon show LUL |

GG Oilers, Smith actually showed up for this game |
The Official 2021/2022 Canucks & NHL Thread It is a must win game 3 for the Coilers on Saturday. The Colorado freight train under MacKinnon is winning the battle so far against McDavid’s toy choo choo train. -gonna be interesting to see what adjustments that Woodcroft and his coaching staff can make to help the team win game 3. Coilers had very little offensive zone time in the Avs zone in game 2. Darren Helm and the other Avs d-men are taking time and space away from MCDavid. Makar is not getting much pressure in his zone with body checks from Edmonton players because the Oilers cannot sustain any puck possession in the Avs zone. No cycling game at all for MCDavid and Draisaitl. The other Coilers lines are not getting any good offensive chances either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I honestly think yesterday was the must win game, after the Avs shutting out the Oilers with their back up goalie I can't see them turning it around right now. Mcdavid is doing nothing in this series so far and seems very timid and not even close to the same player he was in the previous two series. |
yep, the prospect of winning 4 out of 5 games for the Oilers is quite unlikely. Avs are playing incredibly well right now. |
Rangers get jobbed by the refs.. Reaves and Moron were shoving at the faceoff, Reaves gets the only penalty |
FUCK THIS GAME IS FUN |
Tampon Bay looked all out of sorts for a while there, but turned into the old Lightning we know and hate by halfway through the period. Rangers couldn't do ANYTHING on offense |
The Official 2021/2022 Canucks & NHL Thread Woodcroft is shaking up his line combinations partly because of an injury to Yamamoto: Here’s how the Oilers could line up for Game 3, according to Ryan Rishaug of TSN: Evander Kane — Connor McDavid — Zack Kassian Zach Hyman — Leon Draisaitl — Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Warren Foegele — Ryan McLeod — Jesse Puljujarvi Derek Ryan — Drew Shore — Josh Archibald Darnell Nurse — Cody Ceci Duncan Keith — Evan Bouchard Brett Kulak — Tyson Barrie Mike Smith Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Poolparty has looked absolutely frickin useless and lazy out there, no idea how he keeps a spot in the lineup right now. I really thought he’d turned it around this year at one point but nope… |
The Official 2021/2022 Canucks & NHL Thread My guess is that Woodcroft wants Kane and Kassian on McDavid’s line so that they can put more body checks on Makar. Put pressure on Makar using forecheck in order get the puck for more offensive zone time against the Avs. Pool party is just dead weight now. The Oilers put MCDavid and Draisaitl on separate lines to get more offense from their top 6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To add: Looking at his pre-NHL stats, he never produced at a very high level. He performed really well at a couple of tourneys in 2015-2016 right before the oilers drafted him, but that's it. It was an exception from an otherwise mediocre jr. career... Speaking of young fins, Kakko doesn't seem to be meeting expectations either (at least not mine). |
Fuck me no CBC stream for this game, only TNT. FUCK FUUUUUUUUUCK Edit: At least it's Kenny Albert and not that boring cunt McDumbough |
Mcdavid activated. |
