Benning going to Benning....... sign 3rd/4th liners first before u sign ur cornerstones....

It'll be close, especially when Hamonic's 3M comes off the books.

If he doesn't retire and only opts out of this year then I think we still have a problem next year if he comes back, then again it'll delay the problem for a year and we get both guys signed. I know I've stated i wasn't concerned that they were not there for the start of training camp but it's starting to cut closer and closer and haven't heard shit lol

Lu's 3mill is off the books next year so you can call it a wash.

If he opts out, Canucks can write off the first year or start his full contract next year.

Hondaracer 09-29-2021 02:47 PM

Rintoul show was unbearable imo they might get me as an all day listener with this change

But the return of the holtby and jakes buyout of 2.4 mil.

Sw0op 09-30-2021 04:20 PM

Petey 3 x 7.5m
Huggy 6 x 7.75m?

bobbinka 09-30-2021 04:58 PM

so it'll likely be just under $16mil for both, and then 3.5mil from Ferland LTIR to replace Hamonic.

Alpine 09-30-2021 05:07 PM

Under 16m for both? FANTASTIC!!! Loving quinn's contract in particular if it's 6x7.5.

Dim Jim strikes again. For all his faults resigning guys has been a strong part of his game.

Talmbout Petey and Hughesy here... They were re-signed, not resigned Kappa

68style 09-30-2021 08:49 PM

Maybe they resigned themselves to re-signing? KEKW

whitev70r 10-01-2021 07:50 AM

Reports - $7.5M avg for both ...6 yrs for Hughes, 3 for Pettersson.

highfive 10-01-2021 12:29 PM

Jet black Jim continues to win!

Pettersson: 3x$7.35M. Hughes 6x$7.85M

7.35 for petey is nice!

pastarocket 10-01-2021 12:43 PM

Good AAV for each of the contracts for Petey and Hughes.

Good job GM JB!

highfive 10-01-2021 12:56 PM

I think if Harmonic opts out along with Ferland LTIR..we got 5 mil to spend on a RHD

Hondaracer 10-01-2021 01:30 PM

Happy with both contracts. That Petey contract will pretty much be the turning point in his career and whether he becomes an actual superstar or not

We may benefit big time from it if he turns out to be like the Sedins and peaks later in his career and we sign passed that 3 year deal at a 5-7 year deal at a cheaper AAV
