they say Draisaitl was skating slow & mcdavid "might have" returned too early after injury.

The way the Canucks are playing with so much structure and confidence i wouldn't bet against them. They have been in every game except the Philly one.

I can't think of a team in any pro sports league that has done so little with so much over the last 15 years as the Oilers

and also doing that with both McDavid and Draisaitl on their team. I suspect (like others do) that McDavid is playing injured.

quick side note: others have mentioned it too but I also think that Tomlinson is not a great fit with Shorty. Not only because he lacks the same flow and chemistry but he's really just nothing more than informative but dry and boring.

i started watching highlights this yr cause i wanted to see how good that bedard kid was, then next thing im watching canucks ones on a reg basis too. don't have channels to watch anything live. good to see the canucks off to such a good start. also fun to see how bad the sharks are lol

Shorty pretty much ignores all of Tomlinson's musings... it's pretty painful. You can tell he doesn't want to work with the guy, they have no rapport at all.

Tomlinson has been AWFUL so far. He could be good eventually, but he's clearly not ready for TV at this time. He seems to be slow thinking, doesn't have much insightful to say, trips over his own words, and when Shorty does try to have rapport with him, he just stumbles or literally says nothing. I think last week John asked him if he liked horror movies and he was like ".............yes"

He could get there eventually though. Not sure where he came from and how new he is.

He’s done Color a bunch before on the radio even with shorthouse, you obviously never hear that Skinny but he isn’t new to Color which is why it makes it that much more painful. In recent years when, for whatever reason, Shorthouse wouldn’t get the sports net broadcast, a lot of the time it would either be Shorthouse or Kenward doing play by play with Tomlinson on Color.

His little “sayings” he’s trying to be Cheech, which is always a death sentence trying to copy a legend. Just do your own thing and provide insight. Like these painful little sayings he’s been using he’s obviously come up with these prior to using them which makes them even more cringey

can you watch nhl on cbc gem? do you guys all have cable or some sort of sports subscriptions?

when it's hockey night in canada on saturdays, you can watch via cbc.ca/sports for free (so long as you are on canadian IP address or VPN).

otherwise, my best source for streams this season and last has been through sportsurge dot net. highly recommend you have ad block of some sort and antivirus lol.
