Makes more sense to play Demko is a tougher matchup against the Leafs. Plus, DeSmith hasn't played in awhile, need to keep him going too.


Anyways, we got the W but I feel like we were sloppy. You could tell they really weren't trying their hardest the whole game. Quite a disjointed effort after the first two goals there. At least they can beat teams with that kind of game but I'm sure Tocchet will remind them to not build bad habits.

Usually when I see Connor McDavid play, he is flying around like everyone else is in slow motion - it was impressive to watch him play whether he was scoring or not. But now he just seems to be floating around.. Not that he's not trying, he's just not the same guy this season. It's really weird.
