No more specialty warm up jerseys next season. (Pride, lunar new year, Diwali, fight against cancer etc.) https://theprovince.com/sports/hocke...fa7148819/amp/ |
That's the best decision the NHL has made in awhile |
The snowflakes win again! :alonehappy: Some of those jerseys were really cool, but they were priced out of range of most people so yeah, why bother |
^ you mean like this ? :heckno: you think they sold 10 of these beauties? https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/gv...49efd5f0ad020b |
The face on that tiger is jacked, but the concept is pretty good |

Instead of appreciating the players that participated, they spent too much time criticizing those that didn't. So now there's no appreciating at all. Already had 95%, try to take the last 5% and now you get 0%. |
With the jersey's being $750 each there is no loss that special warm up jersey's are no longer allowed. If no one made a big deal over a couple players personal decisions the NHL wouldn't of had to come to this decision. |

SP did say "some" of the jerseys, not ALL. The Diwali jerseys were pretty fire every year, but totally unaffordable. I wish they had made like a t-shirt version with the artist's creations on it that would be fun to have too! |

Thank God the grammar police showed up to decipher what was being said. |

^ Canucks were going to have an Atheist theme night with jerseys and all ... but then they pulled the rug on any focus groups. |
as I understood it, the event nights will still occur and merch will still be sold. the only thing really being removed is having the players where them on the ice during warm ups. |
The Official 2023/2024 Canucks & NHL Thread Interesting. According to CHEK TV's Rick Dhaliwal, Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin would like to move up from 11th overall in the first round on Wednesday night. Dhaliwal went on to add that the Canucks really like Russian forward Matvei Michkov, who scouts say is arguably the second-most talented player in the draft behind Connor Bedard. He's also reporting that the Canucks have already interviewed Michkov and are expected to do so again before the draft on Wednesday in Nashville. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I’ll build a rocket made out of pasta if Michkov falls to 11. |
Boston and Chicago make a trade. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/boston-bruins...awks-1.1977690 The Boston Bruins have traded Taylor Hall and the rights to Nick Foligno to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for pending restricted free agents Alec Regula and Ian Mitchell. The move clears Hall's $6 million salary from the Bruins' books. He is signed at the cap hit through the 2024-25 season on the four-year extension he signed with Boston in 2021.Foligno is a pending unrestricted free agent. |
