It is so funny when you think about it. Money isn't even real. It's just something we all agree on. Money is just what we agree on to turn our "financial power" into experiences and things we can prove we "own" in our limited time on Earth.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we can own things. I love my older Chrysler vehicles to death, they are so simple and robust! I really appreciate the design that went into them.

Does it feel better to fart a Wendy's fart into the cloth seat of your LeBaron, or a Peking Duck fart into the leather of a BMW?

Speaking of cheap BMW interiors, it seems like BMW is listening to its customers...

Quote:

BMW is rolling out a series of model updates this summer in Europe, one of which will impact the X3. The “G45” has a new option for an M door sill trim for cars ordered with the M Sport Package or M Sport Package Pro. In addition, the range-topping X3 M50 is also adding this item to its options list. But a more substantial change is on the way, according to a new report.

Our German colleagues at Bimmer Today have it on good authority that BMW will upgrade the interior quality. It appears that the luxury automaker is attempting to address some of the criticism regarding the materials used in the new X3 compared to the previous “G01” generation. Some of the interior panels and trims will be improved on vehicles built starting later this summer.

Much like the 5 Series quietly received glossy black window controls, the X3 will also eliminate the cheap-looking, plasticky switches. Good riddance. However, shiny surfaces are typically fingerprint magnets, especially in frequently used areas, such as window switches. Ideally, a car worthy of a luxury marque’s badge should feature aluminum switches throughout, but I suppose that ship has sailed in the age of cost-cutting.

Price is a bit steep, but GXP coupes don't appear for sale often:

Steep, yes. But I think it's because of the low mileage. I may be wrong, but I recall donk. having one of these, or at least the Saturn equivalent of it.

JDMDreams 05-30-2025 10:43 PM

If you're gonna Pontiac boomer you might as well spend that much on a Corvette, which donk also has, but no donks :considered::suspicious:

bcrdukes 05-30-2025 10:56 PM

Ok, I wasn't going crazy. He had the Saturn Sky Redline.

JDMDreams 06-13-2025 02:09 PM

I would find a 08+ Bentley, apparently they worked out lots of the kinks by then.

But the sc is a good buy since no one makes hard top verts anymore, most reliable V8, year round driving and you won't lose your ass when you sell cuz there's less and less clean ones around.

RabidRat 06-13-2025 02:22 PM

Damn. That thing has presence.

Badhobz 06-13-2025 02:29 PM

SC’s the best thing Lexus ever made, yeah you can eat a dick LFA. Even my modern ratrolla can’t compare to just how smooth and luxurious that car is. It’s pinnacle Lexus.

JDMDreams 06-13-2025 02:39 PM

I want to try LC. But stupid boc and taco playing games.
