dammit Craig I need those!
sure look like Shanes?

my car is safely tucked away in my garage too :(

down_hill_dog 11-18-2005 11:11 AM

Sorry Jim :( When Shane told me he was selling them, I JUMPED on it, because they were the size, offset, and tire style I was looking for. I put my wheels up forsale, they sold the next day and I bought his.

But you must admit... they look GREAT on my car! :D

jimm 11-18-2005 11:19 AM

Yes those are awesome wheels...perfect for my car too...and now I pretty much know I need a set of 15x7's again for racing. Wish I had jumped on them before Shane bought them in the first place.:stupid:

Yes they do look great on your car...can't go wrong with them!

down_hill_dog 11-18-2005 11:30 AM

why did you sell the Rotas in the first place? you let them go for pretty cheap did you not?

jimm 11-18-2005 11:44 AM

Yes I did and pretty cheap. At the time I didn't know what I wanted to do so I got rid of them plus I never really liked the look on the car. In hindsight maybe I should have kept them but then again I'm happy without them too. Maybe Ron will sell me his Kosei's or I'll find a set of RP-F1's or something else light.

down_hill_dog 11-18-2005 02:22 PM

rp-f1's would be beautiful

Put on my winter tires for the season, even though the car will sit in the garage while its snowy. Spruced them up with some tire shine too. Ok Tire + Car care got me in asap. Good service fosho.

new plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor and piaa windsheild wipers.

girlcrazy_420 11-21-2005 05:20 PM

Got a autostart alarm to install. OMG so-many freaking wires... the hard part is finding a home for em all'

edit: All the ignition wires are done, ground etc. Parking lights are wired in but now its time for the "fun part"... finding the brake switch, e-brake switch, some rpm signal wire from the ecu, headlight wires, door locks, heater control...

fourtirefire 11-21-2005 10:58 PM

finally picked up a sub box, and, after some modifications...threw it together with my 10" sub, and wired up the car.. she sounds quite nice now!

yea a pretty decent Alpine.

wont look stock, but they are going to custom build me a better dash kit that matches the current one. the factory head unit is a piece of crap anyways.
