thats just the primer before the paint right? I had a flat colored car, and man I got so fucking sick of it, and when i painted the car back to a glossy color i wanted to stick pins in my eyes for even considering leaving it semi-gloss.

Not to mention, if it is just the primer before the paint, you will need some type of a panint overtop the primer to seal the body. Water and moisture will transfer through the primer. Because well primer is made to be easily sandable and has large pores. The car will rust out from under you by the time winters over.

Just my 2 cents.... nice bodywork though, the car looks pretty straight.

bigs_Teg 09-26-2005 09:49 AM

Its a sealing primer, it'll probably stay un painted for a while. Its not a spray bomb job

I jsut cant afford to paint it, and i wanted the rust gone before it started to get real rotten.

And thanks, it is really straight.. except for one run gahhhh!

oil cooler

Yes I weld it all, magnesium too. Thanks guys, hopefully car will be on the road in a month. Chewing up gears and spitting out clutches more then likely

Tchleung 09-26-2005 10:05 PM

Nice. what kinda power are you aiming for? what turbo?

Damn if you were closer I'd see you about getting some aluminum stuff welded lol..

AzN_ignite 09-27-2005 09:06 PM

oh mod of the day, toped up oil and changed thermostat, now she warms up quick :)

girlcrazy_420 09-27-2005 09:30 PM

The factory Manual finally arrived after a month. The thing cost damn near $100 :o It has some crazy info in it tho... specs for EVERYTHING! It describes EVERY part in the car... 100 pages dedicated to just electrical diagrams!

On another note... I ordered a Turbo XS RFL style bov... hope it gets here in a few weeks.

And, today was moving day. Helped the gf/room mates move all there shit to a new place. Damn they're pigs...

I wish it were in a mag, one of these days maybe? When I think it's reayd in my eyes. I'll try tog et my name out there, until then I will just be your average brokeass joe tuner motivated by my friends and the will to make things better then factory. :) Having an article in some big name mag like Supertstreet even is in my wildest dreams that could make me say, "I'm done. I did it. I really did."

fourtirefire 09-27-2005 11:25 PM

tommy. your intercooler isn't big enough, it needs to stretch from end to end of the bumper or else it isnt' cool! lol

down_hill_dog 09-27-2005 11:28 PM

and well you know tom... it's very possible.. with impressive numbers like yours and a car that looks as good as it does.... i don't see why it's not already easily attainable.

2.5FearFactory 09-27-2005 11:31 PM

sexy car dude....you never know when someone who writes for a mag might see it and make a note of it to his editor when they're looking for ideas ;)

SaviorSelf_666 09-27-2005 11:44 PM

girlcrazy_420 09-28-2005 10:08 PM

When I got my car worked on a month or so ago, I forgot to pick up my old tranny untill recently when I decided I was going to pull the viscous out of it. I phoned the shop and it got thrown out! I gave a buddy a call who works down at "action metals" and he found the bitch and brought her home for me. Now thats calling lucky odds!

proshoraca 09-29-2005 05:12 PM

holy crap good thing man i can imagine the price of a new viscous coupler probably 800 or 1000 bucks for that thing.

down_hill_dog 09-30-2005 08:06 AM

^ if you could find one for that car

girlcrazy_420 09-30-2005 07:50 PM

Hey craig, the Viscous dosnt look like the stock one that came with the car. Its like minty brand new-ish compared to the other shaft on the tranny. The marking on it are also not original!
