I FINALLY got a new muffler, greddy sp...brand new :) welded her on the other night (well, I didn't, it was mostly anthony, morgan and wade but yea:p), a lot quieter, not sure if I'm gonna take the res out or not tho yet. I need to see how loud it is outside first.

Average Al 10-02-2005 12:18 PM

I recommend leaving the res. Performance difference will be minimal, and the pitch of the exhaust will become much more high pitch and "farty". I have a high flo cat in the Prelude as a res and i'd do it again, the exhaust was very bassy and kinda quite.

In honda's its all about the intake anyways. I love the sound of the Cat-tegra. All intake.

fourtirefire 10-03-2005 06:40 AM

some recent mods for me were to finally splurge and get myself a set of wiper blades, such a difference, oh and another set of headlights as they burnt out right at the worst possible time of course.

jeffh 10-03-2005 03:22 PM

haha, no no. We baked anthonys headlights to get the yellow reflectors out. You put them in the oven, just enough to warm up the glue that holds them together, pull it apart, pull the yellow shit out, push them back together, bake again and let sit. ;) So you just washed them or what?

jeffh 10-03-2005 10:32 PM

little bit of bleach and warm water. works wonders

down_hill_dog 10-03-2005 10:51 PM

the bleach did'nt do ANYTHING for barbs taillights. We had to go and buy castrol superclean.

Chandler 10-05-2005 05:57 PM

got a new shiny air cleaner. sounds more throaty at WOT. Im happy.
