https://i.imgur.com/yoFAHIQ_d.jpg?ma...idelity=medium It's not much compared to what has been posted, but I couldn't pass up the reasonable price on an entry level Origin in Tokyo. It's my first automatic. |

What do you guys think of Rolex resellers? Thinking about getting my first Rolex but not sold on on going with ad's. Any input? |
You should buy it from the AD if you could because you can get it for retail price if the watch you want is available and they let you buy it. Resellers will sell it for more then msrp. But the reseller will have what you want as long as you're willing to pay. |
Thank you. How about preowned from watch flippers with everything, dated recently? |
Answer is it depends on the model. You can easily get some Rolex models from ADs but, say, you're after the really hot models like the BLRO, Daytona, BLNR, Hulk, or even regular subs you're hard-pressed to get these models from any local AD without any prior purchase history. |

New Tag Heuer aquaracer GMT, how many design cues from other watches can you spot? https://wornandwound.com/library/upl...acer-GMT-2.jpg https://wornandwound.com/tag-unveils...ive-blue-dial/ |
Look like the Omega Seamaster and Rolex Batman had a baby and this is the result :lol |
That's probably the best description and summary haha Not a bad watch given the price point and particularly in these market conditions where 1. Peoples cash flows are tightened and far more scrutinized than ever 2. Good luck getting a Rolex equivalent 3. Nowhere near the price point of Omega and Rolex. :D People often shit on TAG Heuer, but their watches aren't so bad. They use run of the mill movements that can be easily serviced reasonably and don't cost an arm and a leg with strict regimented service intervals. |
Also PP Nautilus for the dial |
Found a local seller for a Tudor Black Bay 58. Well below the prices I'm seeing on Chrono24. Watch is 9 months old, very good condition with minor scuffs on the clasp and comes with full box and papers. Should I bite the bullet? I'd say this watch is probably no. 3 or 4 on my list of watches I'm planning to buy. Should I keep saving for the no. 1? Just looking to get some opinions and advice. Thanks! |

Hard to resist that price! Don't think the ad will last long. I asked for more pics of the scuffs. If I don't end up getting it, hopefully a fellow bro on here does haha |

When you guys buy used watches, do you get it inspected at all? (just like a used car, like to see if it's real, etc). I saw that black bay too, looks really tempting.. |
I took my speedy to Otto Freidl who does a visual inspection and opens the case back to ensure the right movement and matching serial numbers. $25 for about 15 mins. Time and Gold has it as well, but is probably more in depth. Theirs is $75 and takes 2-3 days. However they give you a certificate afterwards. |

Did anyone buy the Tudor 58 on CL? |
how much was it? and just a heads up, there is a high quality replica of the BB 58 on the market now so beware of the fakes if the price is too good. https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...bay-58/page115 |
