wow that broad arrow |
Is that like a 90mm watch? |
no its 40mm, i just used a wide angle lens and it looks huge. Its actually not that big on the wrist. https://i.postimg.cc/50t5NLV2/IMG-5660.jpg |
Timex is up to 25% off now with the TIME25 code This one is only on select watches though |
New Moonwatch, with lacquered white dial. Not a limited model $8000 USD MSRP https://www.omegawatches.com.hk/en-h...31030425004001 https://i.imgur.com/igG0iJe.png |
Kinda wished the tachymeter bezel was also white. Then it would go great with a white nato for that ultimate douche bag look |

Edit: this one... This bezel would be perfect https://pics.zeitauktion.com/2022/22...me1_medium.jpg |

Who would have thought loaning out your AP/Rolex etc for payment to a watch rental service could go wrong? $13M worth of rentable luxury watches vanish after rental firm owner flees to Dubai Around 900 luxury watches worth almost $13 million are missing in Japan after a site renting them out folded and its owner fled to Dubai, local media reported. https://e.vnexpress.net/news/trend/1...i-4719744.html |
How much did they charge to rent something for a month? NGL I'd consider it for an Royal Oak chrono LUL |
No idea. No details on the guys website, but I found another article that says one person was getting paid 25000 yen a month for lending his 2 rolexes to the company. https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/15162104 |

Skinny why dont you go talk to some peeps in shenzhen, grab all of the best replicas and then rent those out for 85 bucks per watch. SMART!! |

Really ? It’s friggin Hong Kong though….. like even a ghetto two bed room apartment in Kowloon costs like 3 mil Canadian |

That's just cynicism talking though lol.. There's still a huge legit market here.. Probably one of the biggest per capita outside China I bet it's still over 90% who would just buy replicas though... |
I remember flying to HK on Cathay years ago and reading an article on the in-flight magazine that said HK amounts for 68% of al luxury watch purchases in the world. |
When there is zero hope of buying a home, you may as well spend your money on lux goods to feel good about yourself and show others you are successful. |

I picked up this classic Seiko Automatic off of eBay... took a chance on a 0 feedback seller from Pakistan lolol... I really liked the colour, that's why I went for it. https://i.imgur.com/p55jNnI.jpeg It's pretty nice, really nicely cleaned up/refurbished... and the days of the week alternate between English and Arabic, which is kinda interesting and unexpected detail! https://i.imgur.com/0MsKzK6.jpeg |
Amazed that it appears to have the original dial! |
seiko Yiffany dial ! nice like a rolex oyster in biffany dail color but 1/10 the cost and better looking too p.s. did you make sure it wasn't sent from a Taliban heavy region part of Pakistan ?!?!? you dont wanna be funding jihadists now :lol |
Who or what in the world is a Biffany? :suspicious: |
Joining the Timex mailing list was a good idea, t hey release new models constantly! Now they have a moonphase watch. Stainless steel case with acrylic crystal https://i.imgur.com/oG7icwD.png It has that problem where the movement is too small, so all the subdials are near the center of the watch, making it look weird. I wonder if it's the same movement Casio uses? https://i.imgur.com/9osNlV2.png Timex one is $180 I think. Casio is $70 |
