most stores like FS/BB will get their games on thurs or fri on a tuesday release

can i watch blu ray movies from canada on my taiwan bought ps3?

2/3 of blu-ray movies are region free. but you should check before you buy. you should be ok with a canadian blu-ray on a taiwan ps3 since they are under the same region code A

blu-ray region goes in A, B, and C not quite the same as DVD region coding

I haven't seen a region-free movie yet, but Taiwan is in the same region as Canada anyway, so you're good.

joystiq has an article about DMC4's installation on the ps3 hd which clocks in at a 21 mins waiting period.......

that is insanely long but mentions that loading time will be virtually gone once installation is done.....

so prep up and watch a movie or something while u install the game..

i remember when MGS3 was about to come out and tuesday hit and i was driving around van for a good 1 and half stopping by at every FS i could find and calling all EB stores to see if they have the game yet...... and that was when i learn how the released/shipping works on release date games.......

ur always guaranteed to get ur game thurs afternoon if not on wed..

I just sold my xbox360 and I'm going to jump on the ps3 bandwagon!! So I hear that the PS3's cell processor has changed and that the PS3 will be physically shrinking in size. I'm not sure I should wait until the newer PS3s come out or to just bite the bullet and buy one now. There's no games I really want at the moment so I'm not in any rush. What do you guys think??

Any word of a price drop or increase? I borrowed my bro in law's PS3 and I noticed I had to install games, unlike the 360. I was thinking about going for the 40gig since I have no need to play ps2 games. How many games can I install on the 40gig before it fills up?
