Just got some more APCs in! They're going fast! $140 as always to RS! 28 New Standard Indigo 28 Petite Standard Black 29 New Standard Black 30 Petite Standard Indigo 30 Petite Standard Black 31 Petite Standard Indigo 31 Petite Standard Black |
Interested in a pair, but I gotta find out if 31 fits, since I usually wear 33 7FAM.. Quote:

^ Should probably fit you, I wear 33/34 in Levis and 32 in petite standard fits me good. It has since stretched now though. |
Hopefully RESN still has a pair for me once I go shop around and try it on. Interested in N&F too, not sure how they all fit tho lol. |
^ I think 31 would be a good size for you. They generally stretch out 2 sizes. For a full size run you can check out Hudsons Bay in Dt. They have every size to try there so you can find your ideal fit. |
So I'm sorta confused. Jeans stretches out but also shrinks upon wash. How do I decide the perfect size? :suspicious: |

I havent seen this thread but good thing I did. Have any of you guys checked out / own a pair of Blue Owl's collabs? I picked up a set of JBO-420 (https://www.blueowl.us/product/japan...model-jbo-420/) and they're getting some nice fades after 2-3 months of wear. It fades to an electric blue kind of like 3-sixteen's shadow lines. I drove down to pick them up and got them hemmed on the spot, great group of guys down there. |
Would that not make the indigo bleed out? Quote:

Everytime you wash youll lose some indigo yes, its just the nature of the game. But yea your right each brand is a bit different. I know APCs will stretch a lot and fade fast so if keeping color is important to you keep that in mind. NF will typically stretch an inch, but could be more depending if you belt or get fat. |

Spoiler! not my pic but they look similar to these, about 1.5 years 1 soak. |

Go for the size that fits before the wash. A little tight is ok. APC tends to stretch 1-2 sizes, and even when they shrink after the wash, it will stretch back out (faster than the initial wear). |
APC's are a lot lighter than I thought. Bought 2 pairs of N&F.. fuck their tight on the thighs lol. One pair is 8oz.. to be kept dark. The other to fade over time.. can't wait! Now to find shoes to go with em.. |
just dont buy square toe |

For $425 I'll pass.. I can't justify spending that much on shoes  These look pretty nice but unsure of quality. http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca/en/men/s.../p/36779511-1# Also, these pair of jeans are too damn long. Should I get them hemmed after their first soak? Looks weird rolled up even tho i'm not a fan of it. |
The OSBs would last forever though. Maybe try Allen Edmonds or their seconds? Yea after your first wash/soak they will shrink a tad so hem after. |
It's worth it to buy a nice shoe. 500$ for a pair of oak streets or allen edmonds might seem like a lot but you should see it as an investment in your wardrobe and yourself. Compared to something lower quality like Aldo, they will be much more comfortable, look better and literally will last you a lifetime if you take care of them. I could go on and on but at the end of the day it comes down to how much you value a pair of shoes and how much you're willing to spend. |
