Maybe do your own laundry? Lol

unit 05-12-2014 10:17 PM

havent posted much in a while, but i just picked these up in seattle.
had my heart set on 3sixteens but their fitment was just off for me.
really like the color on these. they're like a very dark, solid blue color. a bit different than what i'm used to.

I do do my own laundry lmao. No idea why my mom went into my room and dumped all my clothes into the washing machine

ShaneN 06-18-2014 08:27 PM

Where is my biggest selection of Nudies around the lower mainland? I need bigger size, around 38.

fs604 06-18-2014 08:31 PM

^ probably dutil

Thanks, I should have finished reading the thread, I came across a link for dutil. Anyone else? I'd rather not have to go downtown.

Expresso 07-22-2014 11:33 AM

Need to unload some denim. I'm not sure why I buy them and don't wear them. It's like a disease.

Place to buy Unbranded? Seems like only Below the Belt has em. Dutil has em online, but I want to try as I heard the sizing is different from N&F jeans.

ForbiddenX 09-12-2014 07:39 PM

You try Urban Outfitters yet? You can even order a bunch online and just return it in the store if they don't have it.

Ended up walking into Dutil and picking up a pair of N&F

Then I went into Below the Belt just out of curiosity and saw that they had the same style in Unbranded for half the price..

Kind of regretting my decision

APC Petit Standard Black Raw | dutil. Denim Shop

New flat black colour for the APC PS raws. Looks pretty dope.

any suggestions to repair a potential crotch blowout? i've been to albert's, but i'm feeling kinda lazy getting there, and the times aren't exactly great either. Preferably in Vancouver.

I go to Oakridge tailors, theyre usually pretty busy and wait times can be long

Don't remember how much it costs for the patch, IIRC its $25 - $30

Expresso 09-25-2014 12:30 PM

I just go anywhere. Not sure if crotch blow out is worth paying the premium at Oakridge Tailors.

Anyone have tips or advice on how best to stretch the length of a pair of jeans?

I have a new pair of 501s. I soaked them in cold water/vinegar for about an hour to set the dye. But they shrank a bit too much for my liking. I'm confident the waist will stretch back out but I'd like to ideally add another inch to the length. I'm wondering if anyone here can relay some advice based on your experience.

G 10-20-2014 01:47 PM

^The only method I heard of is clipping the end and just letting it hang or hang with weights so that it slightly pulls the length... Best done after you soak it.

RevYouUp 12-19-2014 06:51 PM

Does anyone know a place where I can get my APCs crotch reinforced/repaired in Richmond? Would prefer not to go all the way to downtown unless I really have to.

buddy 03-06-2015 12:01 PM

does anyone here know how much a stretch you will get form the Unbranded's heavy 21oz selvedge, and more importantly how long that's gonna take .... I've a bad feeling that's gonna take forever due to the heavyweight cotton.

just received my tapered fit with tag size 27 .. tried them on, waist sits prefect at 28.5, which is good ... but god damn my package was about to blow without even any movement ....

let me know if anyone is interested too ... on sale at original web site for $99USD + shipping, will let them go for $99 CAD ...

are you trying to be subtle about having a large package?

or are you saying the pants are too tight even for one with a small package

buddy 03-06-2015 04:46 PM

the gigantic package is hardly my accomplishment, there is nothing to be subtle about or not .. it's actually my flawless technic that keeps your gf coming back for more ..

nabs 03-06-2015 05:16 PM

lol i was on the hunt today, thread got bumped in time.

wait.. a designer looking for suggestions on work wear? what kind of designer? lol

Armind 04-22-2015 09:14 AM

Graphic Designer.

Usually I just wear 7FAM but would like switch it up to keep it professional since new job will be in an office setting.

trollguy 04-23-2015 12:43 PM

if it must be denim (and if it's the norm and acceptable in your work place).. any darker slim straight or tapered cut with a nice tucked in oxford with casual tie and blazer will work imho
