Patch it up before it gets worst. It should cost no more than $25 to get a quality patch work done. |
best place to get it patched? Posted via RS Mobile |

I called into Brooklyn and apparently they have the JBxMomo collab so I'll likely drop by once I finish exams. |
kinda related as i believe the Tandy leather store was recommended to me in this thread? anyways oiled the natural leather belt i picked up from there a while back, again the Patina doesnt come across in pictures too well but i was surprised how much is sucked in and the change that occured, hope the belt lasts long enough to see a real dark patina come in fresh from the store: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps300cf9ae.jpg currently: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps6508a7ae.jpg |
any recommendation for summer denim jackets? |
Hey guys, denim noob here. I recently replaced my old denims cuz crotch holes started appearing. I'm a big squatter so I have a ridiculously big ass and thigh so it's super difficult for me to find jeans. Also, when I do find a pair, I tend to wear it every day til it dies. So I never have a closet of jeans to choose from. Usually one to two max :( My recent pairs were American Eagle Original Straight Dark Resin wash religiously worn for 2 years, 7FAM Bootcut New York Dark frequently worn for 4 years So a few weeks ago I went out to shop for jeans, which is usually an unsuccessful task, and found Urban Outfitters was selling all jeans for $39! Went in and found a pair of Levi's 511 that I instantly fell in love with. Reason being: 1% spandex. I've never had jeans with spandex before but :sweetjesus: these feel great. Now my question to you guys is where can I get another one of these jeans for sub $70? Mandatory requirement for all my denim now is 1% spandex. Looking for very timeless/classic washes that will go easy with t shirt and a hoodie. |
Levi's 511 is probably your best option. if you get a good quality denim, the crotch issue won't be a problem. Take a look at N&F or even the unbranded denim online at blue owl. |
Also, what kind of shoes do you guys wear with slimmer denim? I have a pair of Nike AF1's but I think it's a bit too bulky. I have a pair of Vans authentics which are also too heavy/bulky. |
anyone has any input/personal experience with Denim Demon jeans? |

I posted in the last page of my immienent crotch blow here and yes they are N&F. http://www.revscene.net/forums/52087...ml#post8200987 |
yep, the reason raw denim tends to blow out is because its so rigid. if you dont care too much about huge contrasting fades, you can make your jeans last longer by washing because it softens them up every time. honestly now that im getting older i dont really want my denim to look so extreme anymore. whenever i buy a new pair i cherish the dark denim look. |

I wear boots, CP Achilles, Authentics, or Eras depending on the weather/how I feel. The authentic is definitely the least bulky shoe I own. I guess you could try the Lo Pros |

I have to confess I like the rich dark indigo look and raw rigid feeling over the well-detailed honey combs and whiskers ... |

The denim I've had/have (in order): N&F WG indigo (retired after 1 yr) Imperial Dukes black (sold after 1yr) APC NC indigo(retired after 1 year and 5 crotch rips) Dior Homme MIJ 19cm indigo (sold almost immediately, needed a smaller size) Dior Homme 17.5cm blue sheers (I wear these somewhat frequently. They're my all-time favourite raws/one-wash... albeit being a little tight now that I've started bulking up...) APC PS black (rarely wear, but technically still in rotation) APC PS indigo (sometimes wear) |

damn, two jeans retired after a year... do you bike a lot? I just bought my first raws, APC NS couple days ago and I'd be sad if they blow out a year from now :( |
My raw denim experience until now includes but is not limited to: Nudie Slim Jim Dry Blue Japan or something like that - 6 months, didn't like the fit or color APC NS - 1 year, didn't like how it stretched and lost shape after a bit. Somet 008 - love these jeans, they have about 2.5 years of continuous wear right now. |
got a bunch as well, in order i think: apc rescue skull s5010xx samurai S003JP apc ns strike gold 1109 iron heart 301s w+h slim fit |
My first pair of raw denim were N&F Natural Indigos. I wore them for about 13 months and now I wear them once every two weeks or so. My next and current and probably last pair are Japan Blue x Momotaro 0100SP. I've been wearing them for 13 months. |
I've worn these APCs NS for 3 days and they went from crotch grabbing skin tight, to saggy in the ass visible from the front... only sizing down 1 was a bad idea... |
For myself: Unbranded 304 Indigo (Worn maybe 4 months) N&F Slimguys Brokentwill (2 years, only pair I'm wearing) Levis 514 Selvedge (Worn maybe 3 months) Kicking Mule 1980 (Too big, for sale) RJB 106BSP (Up next after I retire the N&F soon) |
