^ ye i really like the colour of them. They're the same price at $140. They're going really fast! I only have a few sizes left

zetazeta 11-19-2013 10:23 AM

Still debating if I can justify getting another pair of black-ish denim when I barely even wear my black PS's :/

DemonsBlood 11-21-2013 01:57 PM

Are the dark grey's raw? I'm interested and what sizes you got for PNS? <-- sounds kinda wrong

BadHawk 11-21-2013 05:14 PM

RESN - Are you able to naked & famous jeans?

kcl38 12-04-2013 08:30 PM

Oakridge Tailor told me today that if I wanted the crotch of my N&F fixed up they'd be ready after Christmas because they're so backed up. Alternative tailor suggestions?

I've heard Albert's tailor is pretty good. I've never personally dealt with him though. You can read our own forum members reviews here!

Figure I'd post this here in case any of you are interested! ForbiddenX, along with some other guys, have started a line of urban techwear and they're up on Kickstarter right now. The denim is really innovative and made in Japan, I would definitely check it out. I did the branding for them and am really stoked on their whole company, support your local brands!

Mike Oxbig 12-07-2013 12:54 PM

Wow good luck to them! I love the colour and tonal stitching of the J-cut, too bad it's not available in the tapered cut model.

what boots are these:

kristianhay 12-07-2013 01:19 PM

I think with Kickstarter you do get your money back if it isn't funded.

Those boots are W+H x Dayton Service if I'm not mistaken.

zetazeta 12-07-2013 01:24 PM

Fuck those boots so nice.

Anyone know of anything similar in that charcoal colour?

RevYouUp 12-07-2013 03:13 PM

Nice! That J Cut looks crazy, in a good way . Any more fit pics of the J cut?

fs604 12-07-2013 03:19 PM

didnt know somebody from abcdenim was on rs. been following their blog for 2 years now. learned some pretty neat stuff about denim from them.

daval 12-07-2013 03:38 PM

Wow, RS doing big things. Congrats.

Anyone wanna partner up and do some clothing related stuff?

ForbiddenX 12-07-2013 04:02 PM

Thanks for the support guys! Feel free to pm me if you guys have any questions about our denim.

kristianhay 12-07-2013 04:03 PM

More pics from the J-Cut here. I'm debating whether to get the J-Cut or Tapered at this point.

this may sound really odd, but has anyone ever had a pair of jeans altered to be a different size? my first pair of raw denims ended up being a lot more loose than i had originally wanted. the second pair i got fits a lot better. is it possible to alter the thigh, knee, and leg opening to be slimmer?

TIA

Given the amount you would have to alter, it would be better to buy a new pair and size correctly this time. Even if you alter it, since the tailor would have to essentially completely rip apart the denim and sew it back together, it might not turn out how you think it would.

Knee down wouldn't be hard but I don't recommend tailoring if you have to get the whole inseam redone (thigh, knee, hem).

Picked up a new pair of jeans from my trip to Japan.

Decided wash the NFs after the trip too. 3 years, 2 washes. Probably 9-12 months effective wear. Crotch repaired/reinforced in Year 2. Probably a bit darker IRL.
