Looking to get it tapered a bit and want to keep the selvedge line/thickness the same (will cuff)

I know the manufacturer who makes the jeans for APC. Many RS or Hypebeast members can vouch for its authenticity. They are the Raw black.

Yea I bought my pair from RESN, he has legit stuff. I don't think they make fake APCs

so of all these belts which one would you guys go with? its just basically picking widths?

Its up to you which size you prefer. The wider ones are harder to break into. I got a 1.5" belt. Using the online store is good but I suggest you just buy the stuff instore as you can get help if you don't know what else you might need. The person over the counter might even punch a hole in your belt if you ask him to, assuming that you know your measurements already).
