Can anyone recommend a place where I can get my Selvedge denim leg opening altered?
Looking to get it tapered a bit and want to keep the selvedge line/thickness the same (will cuff)

Preferably a place where you personally or know someone that has gotten this done on their pair of selvedge denim. Thx

I have tapered my pair of dickies chinos at Albert's tailor. He did a really good job.

Anything lol.

I have worn:

Chukkas
Vans Era/Authentic
Timberland Boots
Adidas Pro Model Mids
Super disgusting brown suede wingtips that should never see the light of day again.

bcedhk 01-21-2013 01:53 PM

where are you getting the jeans from? any way to show its authenticity?

Interested in the Petite Standard in 30's. Are they the true black ones or the one with the white and black shim?

RESN 01-21-2013 03:52 PM

I know the manufacturer who makes the jeans for APC. Many RS or Hypebeast members can vouch for its authenticity. They are the Raw black.

Hondaracer 01-21-2013 08:35 PM

so of all these belts which one would you guys go with? its just basically picking widths?

areyounoob 01-22-2013 09:49 AM

yep. Don't forget to buy oil/conditioner.

Its up to you which size you prefer. The wider ones are harder to break into. I got a 1.5" belt. Using the online store is good but I suggest you just buy the stuff instore as you can get help if you don't know what else you might need. The person over the counter might even punch a hole in your belt if you ask him to, assuming that you know your measurements already).

Interested in a pair of APC's but I live in Calgary and have yet to find a retailer that carries the Petite Standard.

Can anyone give me any pointers on how they fit compared to Nudies. I have a few pair of Slim Jim's and all size 28.

Do APC Petite Standard fit similar to Slim Jim's?

kcl38 01-29-2013 10:46 PM

I've not been wearing either of my pairs of raw denim lately. Too many puddles up at UBC and I find almost every other day I have a huge splash mark on my calves :(

Hondaracer 01-30-2013 05:17 PM

So went to Tandy leather today, $23 for the full grain belt, loop, and buckle! And they even let me use their hole puncher, pretty sweet for $23!

Jeans are now at Albert's Tailors getting a crotch blowout fixed. Shitty, but inevitable.
