the sales always come man. unless you can shell out the extra bucks, or you're itching to buy it, just wait for it. I'm pretty sure that at this point, any holiday sale that's been going on for the past week should be cleared out already

exdee 01-02-2012 06:39 PM

eh 130 isnt bad at all actually, ill probably wait till nudies go on sale though
edit: my n&fs has one leg 2" longer inseam than the other... first time this happened is this normal?

Did this issue come up right when you bought the jeans brand new? Or was this something that happened after hemming?

I remember a friend of mine kicking at the bottom of my jeans at some point, and the next day I found a slight inseam difference. Nothing like 2" though, more like 1" It could probably have to do with a stacking problem or something.

PJ 01-02-2012 09:48 PM

Whoa what the hell. :lawl: LOL
I wouldn't have noticed that if you didn't bring that to my attention.
Just checked my brand new pair of N&F, one leg is an inch longer than the other LOL.
I'm not too worried about it. They stack like crazy anyway. But I do find it hilarious for some reason :joy:

@bvu Keep an eye on Plenty.. they always have sales. But be sure to grab it if you see your size, or it'll be gone the next day.
BoysCo almost never has their Nudies or N&F on sale.

exdee 01-02-2012 10:00 PM

LOL alright ahaha theyre new but w.e probably gonna stack them or exchange
Edit: so how do you guys store your jeans? im sure some of you have unique ways

PJ 01-02-2012 10:37 PM

Either folded in my closet or hanging on my coat rack.. Sorry, nothing unique here..

areyounoob 01-02-2012 10:51 PM

I hang mine on the rear center belt loop.

UBC 01-02-2012 11:04 PM

lay them out on a chair or something. i hate folding.

Not really racist! 01-03-2012 01:03 AM

^ takes like 2 secnds to fold a pair of jeans tho lol

- kT 01-03-2012 01:04 AM

i hang all my denim together seperate from my clothes so the indigo doesn't rub off. hung on belt loops

i just toss em wherever. they dont wrinkle like tshirts, they can stand up to not being stored "properly" imo.
if its out of rotation then i'll roll it up and put it in a closet shelf

RESN 01-07-2012 11:00 AM

my sammies are in for their next wash. dumb waitress goofed and spilled beer all over em lol. I've only worn them for 3 months since my last wash :(

Energy 01-07-2012 01:39 PM

Was it a lot of beer? I've gotten small amounts here and there and it just dried up like water.

PJ 01-09-2012 07:09 PM

Fuck me.
Couldn't resist.
Ordered a pair of N&F x Momotaro.

G 01-09-2012 07:52 PM

Walked by this store called "spring" (?) in metro and they had desert boots for 20bux!

woob 01-09-2012 08:06 PM

Are they made of denim?

Because otherwise I think you may have the wrong thread.

Aldo is the "no name" place for shoes. They copy designer shoe styles and make them under their house brand, keeping a high quality.

Spring is the same company as Aldo, and is the lower quality brand.

But.. why is this in the denim thread? :lawl:

Energy 01-09-2012 10:35 PM

^ Hmm they copy the designs but quality is definitely not the same. I got a common projects copy before getting the real thing and there are some differences. The outside isn't quite as nice as the real full grain leather. Inside of the copy was cloth as well while the real thing is fully leather inside and out. Sole of the copy wore really fast compared to the original.

But for $20 on sale compared to $300 I'd say it was a good deal before I outgrew it.

they used to be higher quality probably 10 years ago. nowadays i just cant agree with that.

Alphamale 01-09-2012 11:04 PM

Hey guys,

What's the name of the guy and his website that sells and delivers jeans locally? I remember it being mentioned here a few times but can't find the post.

TIA
