So I got a new muffler today.


A "Turbo" muffler. From idle to 2~krpm it's about as loud as my previous "muffler" aka pipe with holes in it :p, however, above that it's much quieter. Still loud, but VERY tollerable in comparison. My ears don't even hurt on the highway anymore. Alas, it DOES have baffles to achieve this monster sound deadening, and thus, I do feel I've lost a bit of umph. However, the setup is such that I can change mufflers whenever I want now :)

does anyone know what the price would be on a Apex N1 style muffler with a 3" tip.. i know the 6 or 5" tip is $340... i was just wondering if they got cheeper the smaller they went... i think Eighttrack has a smaller one.. anyone know how much he payed?

bcty, that hood is ARF(Anniversary Racing Factory) I believe...
I can get this hood for you(maybe)...but there is no pont to get that hood. Your car is not 1st gen...and I don't think you can use that hood for 2nd gen unless you modify it...

I'm 95% sure that is a ARF hood and Timpo: BCTY has a 79 Rx7 now too.Yay for 1st gens!:D BCTY has the bling bling enough to own two 7's;) I wish I had another FB to build but I need mine runing again first.Then will see whats in store for another project next winter;) I just got my mazdatrix front yesterday.Should look good with it on there.

SA's are awesome to go fast for the fact is that they're the lightest of the 7's but I still like the FB's looks better.ARF kits are fukin sweet too.:D I still love that black FB timpo posted on a earlier page with that kit.YUM!
