I just found the answer. Thx to google.

IIRC he came to vancouver with his shutout streak, then we shut the coyotes out that night and that was when we were on that crazy 11 game win streak when we had Cloutier? I dunno...That's all I remembered.

AzNightmare 11-10-2008 02:10 AM

lol, a "nobody" hold's the NHL most consecutive shutout record.

Kewl. What's his name? Maybe I'll drop the gloves with him. And then tell him Soundy sent me to hurt him. :haha:

I don't know for sure who is playing, but last year there was Cliff Ronning, Kirk Mclean playing forward, and I believe Bill Randford was in goal.

Watched a bit of the NYR vs Oilers game and Naslund looks pretty good up until the S/O when he missed and lost the game for NY.

Wow. What a shocker.

Razor Ramon HG 11-10-2008 07:57 PM

Naslund has always sucked in the SO and penalty shots IMO.. well except the one where he scored on Joseph.

On the news, I watched his SO attempt and it wasn't bad. He came in with a lot of speed and his head up, but his shot was a little low and went straight into the goalie's glove. Had he shot it a little bit higher, like Ohlind against Hiller, and he could have scored.

more like a cash grab

the_rickster 11-11-2008 04:54 PM

it was originally created to be a salute and a celebration of the epic 07-08 season, but after we didn't make the playoffs, they scrapped that idea and turned it into a tribute to the fans because aquilini had already sunk a ton of cash into producing it.

seriously.

b0unce. [?] 11-11-2008 05:09 PM

lol no doubt about it. Team 1040's poll today was who would watch it. 86% said no lol. I wonder how empty the theatres were. Perhaps it was a good movie to go in and bone your gf cause nobody was in there
