no
the canucks beat them in OT at the end of november and october
both in OT

as for lines..discussion has stopped since the season started, becuz AV juggles too muhc...hell anything can happen

but what was noted that he doesnt want Pyatt on the 4th line..especially now u see how the 4th line can contribute offensively and force opposition to ICE the puck
that doesnt happen often, and nashville isnt THAT HORRIBLE of a team

about teh 7min PP..yes..the canucks depend too mcuh on that pretty passing play. Im not sure where the preds rank in PP%, but shea weber is the pts leader for dman and PP or not, he throws the puck at the net.

Remember, at one point, the canucks had one of the best offensive D play because Salo/Beiksa would throw the puck towards the net.

Then again, its also true that no one on the canucks can play around the net and screen, so it somewhat makes sense, and hte sedins are not the type of player to crash the net either..

He's doing so well over there. And we are doing just fine without him.
What are the salary offers from the other teams?

huh? Naslund has 22 pts in 31 games.....almost his exact same scoring pace as last year

its not like he's lighting it up

Tim Budong 12-10-2008 06:38 PM

nazzy did start off pretty hot, then dropped off
just like bertuzzi

at one point, I thot bert was gonna get his scoring touch back!

Razor Ramon HG 12-10-2008 07:07 PM

:lol The Flames lost in OT 3-4 while leading 3-1.

Harvey Specter 12-10-2008 07:16 PM

The Flamers did blow the 3-1 lead but to be fair to them they did play last night and their bus didn't get into Detriot until 4am.

Sorry I phrased that wrong. They don't have any straight up losses against the NW... they're 6-0-2

chr1s 12-10-2008 07:40 PM

davison and obrien are looking to be two pretty solid pickups. gj gillis

Hondaracer 12-10-2008 07:53 PM

cant really fault any team for losing a come behind game with Detroit

Obrien is definitely an upgrade over Kracijek, he never did much in his time in Vancouver

6thGear. 12-10-2008 08:14 PM

its kinda amusing. some of you guys think o'brian is a good pickup and a few pages back some people said he's a horrible player and shouldn't have gotten him

Harvey Specter 12-10-2008 08:17 PM

O'Brien is decent. He takes way too many penalties and usually makes one or two stupid plays per game. I just hope he doesn't turn into the next Sopel.

CRS 12-10-2008 11:13 PM

O'Brien is a solid defense man. Nothing more, nothing less.

why is he wearing the A?

Tim Budong 12-10-2008 11:23 PM

Detroit will either come out and secure a win redwing style..or play sloppy and make that just enuff effort..altho that just enuff effort is pretty scary already

he seems like a really good team player as well, you always see him giving everyone props on the bench

Detroits getting some poor goaltending this year and they're still owning. It's quite scary haha.

hypediss 12-11-2008 01:21 AM

^ salo was out also

cspec 12-11-2008 01:45 AM

SJ is owning like no tomorrow, their record... is like. UHHHHHHHH

Tim Budong 12-11-2008 05:03 AM

SJ is a godly team to begin with, and they haven't blown up the team and have been VERY PATIENT with their players to gel. Very good move on resigning Patrick Marleau

their one up on the wings would be goaltending. Though no one should rule out Osgood. streaky at best, but streaky at the right times, as well as the fact that he shows up when being called upon. One big reason why he backstopped the wings after the the czech monster of Hasek broke down. As almighty the of a hockey TEAM the wings are, your goalie is part of TEAM

on a second note...Barry Trotz is makin a rampage about tuesday's game. So TSN came out with this on droppin the gloves

altho it makes no mention of that fight where teh dude landed on his head.
