Seems funny to me that Sundin would wait till Thurs to announce his decision out of respect for Linden. Feels like he's coming here and doesn't want to take anything away from Linden's night. If he were going to NY why would he wait? Retiring Linden's jersey would be the perfect way for fans to take their mind off it IMO.

McT and Lowe are lovers, I don't see him going anywhere unless the Oilers go on some crazy losing streak. And the Oilers have a decent team, all they need is a decent goalie.

Just watched the news and they said the Rangers offered Sundin $4.5M a year, pro-rated. That is less than the $10M a year Gilles offered.

I can't see Sundin turning down that deal from the NYR if it's true.

Seems to me Gillis said his offer to Sundin will expire as of the Christmas roster freeze (not those exact words, but something to that effect. After Friday, no roster moves can be made until the new year.
