its normal but drinking alcohol makes it even worse. Dehyrdation.

SkinnyPupp 05-14-2012 08:47 PM

peeling is normal, scabbing (where chunks of skin fall out) should be prevented. I got a little scap on my wolf, and a tiny chunk of shading fell out a bit

threezero 05-14-2012 09:43 PM

A little thin sheet of scabbing is normal but not thick heavy scab all over.... Super heavy scanning usually indicates sloppy aftercare and/or heavy handed artist

serve me right for going drinking after getting tattoo... now i have super heavy scabbing :okay:, have to touch it up AGAIN this is going to be my fourth go at the same tattoo......:rukidding:

... you drank after getting inkd?
your tattooist didnt tell you not to drink?

threezero 05-16-2012 04:51 AM

Yeaaa I know I'm not suppose to drink but I admit I'm weak and I cannot resist all the booze and parties in Hk .....

But honestly though if the tattooist isn't my buddy I probably would have been more careful with the healing. Sucks having a huge scab up tattoo on my thigh but I totally bought it on to myself lol.

PJ 05-16-2012 07:49 AM

You can always get it touched up..

westopher 05-16-2012 08:46 AM

I've gone drinking the night after getting tattooed after almost every session, many times with my artist. Its not that big of a deal. If the scabbing is heavy its most likely due to a heavy hand or a bad first wash.

phantom x 05-17-2012 07:43 PM

ok peeps ,.. it's all washed up,.. we only did about 1.5 hours today,. got alot covered but it was his g/f's b-day so we had to cut it short...

Thats a good amount of line work for an hour and a half. Looks good.

phantom x 05-17-2012 09:00 PM

thanx dude,.. i sit like a rock , and he's my friend so he just plows away !!

westopher 05-17-2012 09:25 PM

Yeah I'm the same way when i sit usually. No cringing or squirming, no breaks, but when I'm done, I'm fucking done. I will hit 3.5 hours or so and just say "ok fuck finish what your doing, I'm fucking dying here." My artist always finds it so funny. I go from fine to just dead like a light switch.

xilley 05-18-2012 01:13 AM

Hey guys,

So.. those that were interested in dropping by, the tattooist is arriving next tuesday the 22nd, but will start meeting with people on the 23rd and actually start inking that day too.
so again anyone that wants to drop by, drop me a pm or something

Thanks !

SkinnyPupp 05-18-2012 02:11 AM

For me I just get bored. The so called pain is fine but I just hate sitting in one position for so long and basically not being able to do anything. Longest I've gone is 6 hours on 3 occasions and I wanted to blow my brains out from being bored. I even fell asleep once lol.

It's just weird you are claiming ownership over someone, to the point where he doesn't even have a name in your subsequent posts

nah, hes personally asking me to help him spread out the words for him. as hes not fluent in English and since I m the only person he knows here, I do have to help him out since hes flying all the way here to finish my ink. so the least I could do is help him get his words/work out to everyone.

and nope, not making any tips for doing this for him, pure favor.

dont take it the wrong way like I m boasting about my ink or anything.

phantom x 05-19-2012 06:54 PM

do you guy's come out to the meets?... i was thinking of going to the next when one (if i'm able to make it) .. but we should meet up before and roll in together?... whatcha all think?.. gives us a chance to meet ,.. or we can do our own meet?... lemme know peeps.

Since you're helping spread the word, it'd be nice to see a bit more of a portfolio if there is one available. And yes, I did google Ah mo but nothing came up.

Canadian Rider 05-19-2012 09:09 PM

why wait to post the portfolio?
