where do u find ur bb messenger pin #?
where do u find out what firmware version u are running?
whats the biggest microsd card u can use? i see 8G's are available

wow rs runs slow on this!

*Change Bluetooth name in Options/Bluetooth/Hit the BB button and go to Options. Device Name is the name of your device.
*PIN is in Options/Status/PIN
*FW is in Options/About. It's the one right underneath where it says Blackberry 9000 Smartphone
*I know 8GB works. That's what I have. It supports SDHC, so I would imagine 16GB is OK. I can't manage to fill 8GB so 16GB might be overkill :D

Unlocking only gives you the option to use any providers SIM, nothing more.

^^ just to add to that..if u wanna see your pin you can also look on the side of your box.

You want to know your pin?

just type "mypin" without quotation marks and press space afterwards and it'll automatically type in your pin

works really well when you're sending text or emails and you want the other person to add you to bb messenger

left: Select profile (Vibrate, Loud, etc.)

Yep.. Same charger as Motorola. I charge my phone at my gfs place with her Moto charger.

can you change the ringtone?

left = bbm
right = voice command.

Select a song you want as a ring tone -> Menu key -> Set as Ring tone

or go to your sound profile and go to advanced (very bottom) and you can edit all your ring tones for your profile from there.

haha, finally slowly getting how to use this damn phone

just dont get this stupid icon! its got a number 2 next to it, blue box with 4 white dots. now i understand the whole * in the corner thing means its unread. but there is nothing left to read and the damn icon is still there!

Usually just bugfixes. I haven't noticed new features. I guess the only new feature (to be up and coming) is visual voice mail.

Can you take a picture of teh blue box with white dots? It sounds like the Blackberry Messenger icon (although that's 7 dots and not 4 dots)

Thats easy, go to your media folder and either take a pic of your car/something else and hit the BB menu button and set as background

As for firmware updates, I've been using .210 for a long time now and its been really stable.

There arent huge differences between versions, but some say menus load faster, phone boots up faster, more available memory etc

Personally I don't find BBs to be that great for media... I still use my 1gb 1st gen iPod nano over my BB for music lol.

I use my nano for when I'm at work or working out
But the BB bold is GREAT for when you want it to be stationary while you're cooking, cleaning etc

I believe there are 3 speakers, and the sound is crystal clear
