But I'm putting in the 8900 trackball to replace the one I have on it now.

Completely blacked out =)

is this deal still available? how much was it?

w00tgasm 03-03-2009 04:12 PM

Yeah it ended.

15% really.

Criot 03-03-2009 06:51 PM

Anyone know of a free/cheap turn by turn GPS navigation software? I tried the Garmin one, but it has a steep price.

are you installing it yourself?
i want to black my bold out as well, but im not confident in doing the install of everything (particularly the black trackball/ring) myself.

w00tgasm 03-03-2009 11:10 PM

Yeah I did it myself.
I even saved the warranty sticker haha

I just put my e71 up for sale to jump back onboard the blackberry train again. This time cause I finally have a data plan. Anyways, before I buy a used Bold, should I phone into rogers to confirm the pin or imei number? Ive heard cases on craigslist where this should be done to ensure you dont buy a sketched out one. Thanks

cspec 03-04-2009 08:42 AM

You definitely should, because there's a chance that the Bold might be a pre-release one and the PIN might not work. Tons of people got jewed when they got a developer Bold

Im meeting the seller tonight and by the sounds of it, most rogers stores will be closed. Hes telling me that as long as I register on blackberry.rogers.com for email, everything will be fine after I plug my sim in. I dont think its like that right?

If you're worried about it, just tell him that you'd rather wait so you can have everything done at a rogers store

If he's got nothing to hide he should be fine with waiting

JordanLee 03-04-2009 01:29 PM

Thanks for the help Draft. I hope to join you guys with a bb soon haha.
