Try reinstalling it

Had a weird issue last night, phone died so I came home to recharge it, when I booted it up, everything went back to stock and I had a bunch of exception errors, I was mssing icons and what not, did a battery pull and then rebooted and everything went back to normal, anyone know what happened there?

also, my browser doesnt seem to be displaying pages properly anymore, RS used to load properly but now it doesnt, the forum portion is squished together and the links at the top that bring you to different forums all take me to the main revscene page

I think all Bold owners have had the exception errors on bootup at least once. I had that problem when I first got the phone and it hasn't happened since.

I also have the problem with RS top links not working properly. I was using Opera Mini. It was working fine before.

how come when i call people through my contact book, it says ...call cannot be completed.. but when i manually type in the numbers it works?

my bold is annoying the crap out of me right now, the little icon that says i have a new email wont go away, done the battery pull, deleted all messages and still no luck... having a hard time figuring out whats wrong

Did you check in Saved messages?

How about if you go to today's date, hit the BB button, and set Mark Prior Opened. Maybe it's a really old message that hasn't been read?

what version OS were u running?

let me guess is it a black berry msg?? if so go to the message and just scroll up a few lines from the chat that allows the msg to be read and the little icon should go away

Also, if you've flashed your firmware recently it could be a message from rogers saying that your phone has been registered with the network.

After I flashed to .210 I had 2 new message notifications and I couldnt find out where they were, I was moving some icons around and noticed that I had a new message(s), and this particular folder I rarely ever check.

So I went in there and sure enough there were 2 messages from rogers, deleted those and the icon went away

When its not being used I usually lock the keys, unless I'm in the middle of texting or something I just leave it sitting there.

But if I put it in the holster I always lock it

i just put it in standby. Basically the same as keylock

me my self i just put it on key lock too so i am able to access the clock on there easier but my batter does drain quite quick i must say i'm almost chargin my phone every night would putting it on stanby help the battery life?

You could try switching to EDGE to save some battery life

I went through the do more site to get it,
my bold is nice but has weird things happening with it, picked up a call today and heard a high pitch noise then when the call ended, the noise was still there till I did a battery pull

Hold the A key to lock
Hold the Q key to change Profile to Vibrate, hold again to revert back to what you had prior

i just changed it to EDGE today and i'll try that out

Thats really old, I'd suggest at least upgrading to .190

Werd. I'm at .190 might upgrade to .210 cause some of you guys said it's better.

I don't understand why, but when my WIFI is turned on at home, I can't connect to my router. Same with other DLINK hotspot locations, pissing me off. Other areas works perfect though like school and stuff.
