The RS group KILLED my battery last night.

yeah, it does that the first time you join cause it has to download all the pictures in the gallery (there are a lot of them lol) and update all the member info. my phone battery got killed when the group went from 23 or so members to 28 yesterday lol

here is what I have left to download..I dunno why nobody else has gotten it
it said "software version 5.0xxxxxx update is available" as soon as I opened up my desktop manager
and yes I do now have the fully threaded sms, the updated themes etc and this isnt the leaked version!

Grrrr. Tried calling into Rogers Retentions today to try and sneak an Early HUP in for the 9700 and no go for the 2 times I called. I got a Curve 8900 last Jan and sold it to recoup the cost of the data plan but since thats a smartphone I'm not eligible for another year and 2 months. Ridiculous.
