Wicked update for poynt no less. Restaurant listings are awesome. Been a long while waiting for a good restaurant recommending app.

You're probably right, I'm running .266 and it didnt work for me a week ago.
Now it works :)

Just out of curiosity, how many KB or MB do you guys think it is to watch a youtube vid?

thats an actual good question that i've wondered about myself. im pretty sure the video streamed to your bold is used with the blackberry compression, but im guessing if you watch a few videos here and there it wouldn't hurt.

Alby 09-02-2009 10:41 PM

in your bold, go to rogers.mobi and you can see your account details such as airtime/datausage/txt etc.

I tried to install buzzme, after installation when I tried to click on the icon it said

Error starting Buzzme: Class 'net.rim.device.api.ui.UiEgineInstance' not found.

Anyone able to help me out here?

i installed it and tried running it but didn't work

i did a battery pull and it started working.

TypeRNammer 09-10-2009 03:04 AM

Fido Bold users, anyone having problems receiving emails today?

I haven't received a single email all day long and I have to physically check them on my computer.

wc19 09-10-2009 08:03 AM

Yeah I tried that as well but the same msg popped up when I tried to open it. Thanks though, any other suggestions?

I had that problem with my Bold on Rogers yesterday. My emails only didn't work from about 2pm-3pm. Worked fine after that...

this would explain it better than me

"The best feature in my opinion is that it lets you cache radio stations over your cellular connection and Wi-Fi. If you have a Wi-Fi or good 3G connection it can cache stations at a claimed 10x realtime. This way you can get hours of radio on your BlackBerry in a few minutes. It also means you do not need a constant connection to listen.

To try out the burst caching select a station you want to listen to and select the FlyBack 2 Hours icon. To verify it is working keep an eye out on the little yellow/green “cache indicator” line at the bottom of the player fly by. Once it turns green, that part of the stream is completely cached and you can jump to the next part of the stream. Try caching an hour (should take about 5-10 minutes with a good connection) and then stop playback. Go to My Stuff/Recordings and you’ll see 1 hour of that station cached on your device."
