q0192837465 01-28-2009 03:33 PM

there hasnt been much rain for the past 2 months. Totally wierd as this is suppose to be the rain season in Vancouver. Remember the last few years where we had like 130 consecutive days of rain.

hotjoint 01-28-2009 03:52 PM

yeah it needs to rain, my car is due for a nice wash

Harvey Specter 01-28-2009 03:58 PM

Turned out to be a pretty nice day which melted all my snow.

danned 01-28-2009 10:17 PM

some piled snows haven't melted yet

AzNightmare 01-29-2009 02:00 AM

Hahaa, told you guys so. Panic for no reason.
It all melted already.

yeah you said it... now this thread will revert back to people asking when to put their summers back on or when the next one will hit :D

i myself is kinda wondering too when to take my winters off. i was warned my tires wear really quickly in warm/dry conditions.

It's fine below 7c, and it's not like it's going to die within 1000km if you drive it in warmer conditions... :D

Probably take it off mid-late Feb.

I think we did get a few in March, even 1 in April, but those dont really matter since the snow will be gone by dark in most cases

nothing like the snow dump we got last December

CaptFiero 02-01-2009 07:59 AM

Its snowing pretty heavy in Fraser Heights right now. Sticking on the roads as well. Temp is -0.7 outside. So just barley below freezing.

SumAznGuy 02-01-2009 10:42 AM

Snowing up on SFU. Barely sticking though.

JHuJHu 02-01-2009 11:57 AM

When does grouse close ski/snowboarding runs this year?

Graeme S 02-01-2009 12:06 PM

Snow on Capitol Hill in Burnaby; call it an inch or so. Stuck, but some of it is already looking slushy.

jimzilla 02-01-2009 12:18 PM

shitting snow at sfu bunaby right now

thumper 02-01-2009 02:23 PM

weird. started off from westwood plateau... no snow. take hwy 1 and it's like a blizzard when i reach gaglardi (but it's not sticking). got to metrotown and it's just light wet snow... get back to n. bby and no snow again

hotjoint 02-01-2009 08:38 PM
