^and you are entitled to your own opinion

but really, the bandwagoners are the ones out there hustlin the games and streets after the fans

Heres an interesting take on the whole Luongo not being Luongo. The canucks are not the team unlike the past where they were built to win games 2-1. The team this year has now been turned to focus on score first, score early to make Lu's job easier. In which the goal of building the team goalie out has been succeeded.

but damn, watching the highlight package right now and what a nite in the NHL

Huge win tonight, big saves from Lu in the 3rd. Man, you gotta love this years Canucks team.

loving how the Canucks are playing this year. Any one catch the 2nd intermission? Craig Mactavish believed the Canucks were strong enough this year to make it to the finals.

of course we are! once again tho, we are missing the elusive puck moving dman to make the pass out of the defensive end. Really tho, the way the team is playing, thats only a bonus to the team now.

Chicago will be interesting to watch, since losing Brian Campbell really means they gotta change up alot of things in their system.

shawn79 03-18-2010 11:19 PM

hmmm i wonder how many 30 goal scorers we will have by end of the season?
As of March 19 2010

burrows- 32
sammy - 30
danny - 19 (a 30+ goal scorer by default)
hank - 28
raymond - 22
kesler - 21

with 12 games remaining

fobulaus 03-18-2010 11:30 PM

11 games left... DOUBT danny / Kes will make it.. I think it'll just be Hank/Burrows/Samuelsson

Tim Budong 03-18-2010 11:32 PM

of course these stats are so pleasing, but come playoff time, its one game at a time and stats are completely out the door

Joe Thornton anyone?

shawn79 03-18-2010 11:36 PM

probably bur, sam, and hank.

hank should've gotten one today against the sharks, but he was tripped by the opponent's stick.

Ronin 03-19-2010 12:22 AM

Datsyk has an insane soft touch and it's not only how quick he moves the puck but how quick he moves his stick around the opponent. He's crazy.

Greenstoner 03-19-2010 12:50 AM

tough playoff this year for sure

AzNightmare 03-19-2010 01:00 AM

lol. Sigh.. closest player we have to Datsyuk is... Wellwood?? :lol

Harvey Specter 03-19-2010 03:54 AM

The only weakness I see for the Wings if they make the playoffs is goaltending but who knows, maybe Howard or Osgood will get hot in the next few weeks.

Losing Campbell + Seabrook is going to kill them. Brent Sopel isnt going to carry the blueline on his back:D

die chicago

Yah man, I don't know what it is about Chris Osgood in the playoffs....... guy somehow changes into... well... not supergoalie... but "goodenough"goalie every time when playoffs come around!

For a second, I thought you were talking about Kessel's shootout goal last night. That was some impressive moves too.

Greenstoner 03-19-2010 08:13 AM

wow 11 games left !!! i cant wait to put on my car flag again !!

I got a noob question, whats the difference between, scoring chances, shots on net and shots on goal? Are they just the same and worded differently ??

Tegra_Devil 03-19-2010 08:25 AM

^^^why wouldnt you run your car flag all season long??

i run my flames flag all season long...suprised no one has vandalized it...

Tapioca 03-19-2010 08:26 AM

I'm glad that AV played Kyle Wellwood more minutes last night. He's definitely stepped it up since the Olympic break. He makes the game so effortless and his hockey sense is second to none.

SumAznGuy 03-19-2010 08:28 AM

Kesler signed to a long term deal.

6 years.
