is there a site where i can rewatch yesterdays game?

Gh0stRider 03-21-2010 02:43 PM

yes! Minnesota beat Calgary.

MR_BIGGS 03-21-2010 03:05 PM

Wings Hawks first round would be sick! Weren't the Hawks winning a game 3-0 this year against the Wings and they came back to win 5-4?

That would be an interesting first round matchup.

shawn79 03-21-2010 03:09 PM

Pits vs det in finals again -_-

sooo is it safe now to say the flames won't make it into the playoff, and the worst possible place for the canucks would be 8th place....... ? ? ? ? >. . >??

lol.. gg to the flames

Yes! That was a sweet game to watch! The Wings are definately in the Hawks players heads.

I still think the Pittsburgh Penguins are the team to beat. In the west, I'm not sold on the Sharks with Nabokov in net. Can anyone name any "big" games Nabokov has won in his career? The same can be said about the Hawks and the Wings. Even the Canucks with their D line the way it is right now.

Anyone can advance in the west. The team that stays healthy and get good goaltending will advance in my opinion.

As for the East, I like the Caps, but the only team I think can challenge the Penguins is the Devils. Should be an interesting few weeks with teams jockeying for position.

hahaha I was thinking that a bunch of people would say the same thing about Lou but then I remembered February 28 and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.

The Situation 03-21-2010 04:50 PM

Jordan Schroeder's AHL debut: 2 goals, and should have been 1 assist (but they fucked up). 1st shift from him = 1 goal. He's looking very fucking good.

shawn79 03-21-2010 05:26 PM

phx bout to take top seed in pacific division

I really hope the flames DO make the playoffs. Would rather have them in than the Wings lingering around. Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Rafalski, Franzen and co are MUCH scarier than Iginla and the rest of those losers

West is a tossup like you said. Every team seems to have a hole:
Canucks have a shaky blueline
Hawks have shitty goaltending + the injury of Campbell
Sharks are perennial chokers. ie No show Joe
Phoenix is surging but i dont see them getting too far
Avs are way too young
Preds...dont know too much about them but Shea Weber can't carry the entire team

I really hope Lu steps it up like he did in that 2006-07 post season

When the Kovalchuk trade happened i was thinking PEns vs Devils as well. But the Devils havnt been doing so well as of late...They are stacked upfront but lack a solid blueline.

Pens are essentially the same team as last year:)

I find myself not giving Phoenix any respect either. Even 70+ games into the season, they still haven't folded and have strung up 9 straight wins. I think we have to give this team some respect now. Damn the west standings look so weird right now.

Chicago
Phoenix
Vancouver
San Jose
Nashville
Los Angeles
Colorado
Detroit

68style 03-21-2010 06:23 PM

That was some scary shit with Langkow getting hit in the back of the neck and not being able to move his legs in the game today!!!!

this is awkward to see San Jose in 4th and Detroit in 8th.

shit.. what if Phoenix beats Chicago. Will the world end?

CoHo is back from injuries as well, 3 pts in 2 playoff games... In the next couple seasons we're definitely gona need these two to step up and fill the void!

InvisibleSoul 03-21-2010 07:49 PM

San Jose has lost six in a row... and have given up 26 goals in that stretch.

Is Nabokov the new Tommy Salo?

playoff time is near, hence the sharks are failing

Well if the wings can take out Chicago...I would be more worried about the Wings. Best case is if the wings dont make it at all.

Tim Budong 03-21-2010 09:03 PM

i have alot of angry things towards Jumbo Joe, as a snippet, i mean..COME ON! 35GF in the olympics and hes -1...

Harvey Specter 03-21-2010 10:16 PM

I'm shocked at the freefall the Sharks are in, it looks like it'll be another first round exit for them.

cctw 03-21-2010 10:25 PM

^actually mayb this year it'll be different...every year the sharks have been strong till the last game of the regular season..then they start freefalling in the first round...

maybe they want to freefall now and play better in the first round lol
