I don't suppose anyone knows where (or even if) I can find CTV's pre-Opening Celebration video? The one that showcased Canada and Vancouver? A couple friends over in Europe wanted to see it and I didn't think of PVR'ing it until it was too late.

I PVR'd the thing starting at 4 pm. if that helps. Someone did mention that a DVD was in the works.

I'm pretty sure someone on RS has the whole thing recorded.

However, I've a feeling it'll either be the NBC version or just the ceremony itself and not the CTV specific intro. I have the NBC intro recorded but it's mainly all "Rah Rah America!" stuff.

You wouldn't happen to have a DVD burner attached somewhere in your home entertainment setup, would you? :D

Haha. Watching the freestyle skiing on the web right now. You can totally tell how little snow there was on the mountain. Everything beside the mogul site is showing major green or rocks. :thumbsup: to the people who worked so hard to get the snow there.

PS - for those into .jp girls, there are some cute Japanese freestyle skiiers ;)

was watching speed skating earlier too, it was pretty intense, you can see how hard those guys are pushing themselves when you just look at their faces

i'm loving the streaming HD feed on ctv, tsn, etc, very little to no lag at all, can't wait till the day this type of feed is standard across the board. peed skating is pretty darn exciting, who would of know:)

Some people on Twitter have been saying the Canadians should let up...that it isn't right to just crush an opponent like this.

IMO, isn't it more insulting to let up? If I was Slovakia, I would be pissed if they weren't trying to score. That's just like saying you're not worthy of the full force of the Canadian hockey team. Besides, what do you expect them to do? Skate backwards?

ugh...I wish I had read this before I went out today. Took some friends from out of town to go check it out and we were all pretty disappointed that it was surrounded by a big ugly gate and covered by banners on the gates. There was a TON of people out there checking it out. Great atmosphere out there and it looks like people are having a great time out there despite the weather.
