exactly what apps are you looking for? imo, the apps that are now available with os2 are fantastic and useful and im finding more useful ones every day. there isn't a "these are the best apps" list and it takes some searching, and not just in appworld. RIM extended the free playbook to developers program an extra 3 weeks into march now. theres apps coming. its not up to RIM to bring them over, its up to the 3rd party developers. i dont know if maybe you just want a bunch of games and toys or what? and you need to calm the fuck down. as for the second problem, theres been some talk that perhaps they would make it so scrolling up and down on the side bezel would scroll the page. |
I can't calm down I need meds...I'm looking for nextflix which will not be coming to the PB anytime soon, Skype, more games ect.... |
Good riddance. I've had enough of his trolling. |

LOL poor guy RRxtar set him up! |
Anyone hate their new 2.0? I'm looking to buy a USED playbook 16gb for $120 or a 32gb for $150... pm |
good bye nabatron... lol was tired of him talking about dust under the screen, only reason why i stopped reading this thread |
lol.. if he hates it so much.. sell it or refund it.. not like RIM is holding a gun to his head saying buy it or else =\ |
when i was reading the setup wizard it mentioned that the black border of the pb is touch sensitive too and can be used to start swiping. did i misunderstand/misread it because i don't see the black border really doing anything. i'm liking the integrated file browser on OS2. no need to use air browser anymore. |
^ If you start your swipe on the black border and slide to the screen it works. Posted via RS Mobile |

good commercial finally! the real game changer for me with the PB was starting to use evernote and remember the milk. unfortunately both were android sideloads as evernote for pb is pretty lacking and RTM isnt available, altho conqu is available and pretty good. running a small business ive got stuff flying at me all day every day, and finally having a way to properly manage all that info has changed the way i do things. i couldnt imagine not having a PB now. i already have plans for meetings coming up on how i can present ideas to clients where in the past it would be done with poorly worded descriptions and usually result in me waving my hands around. lol if i could have one wish it would be that a task manager integrates with the native calendar. RTM syncs with google calendar tasks, unfortunately google tasks dont sync with the PB calendar. I am currently regularly using for productivity: AIR Browser: file manager (May switch to Files and Folders) BlueBox: drop box client (Have installed box as well just for the free 50gb.) Groovy Notes: daily notes, journal. real nice app. first app I ever purchased Evernote (android): notes, ideas, information, web page clips, anywhere, anytime. cloud synced Remember the Milk (android): task manager, to do list Google Maps (called Latitude) (android): google maps I haven't used yet but am looking forward to trying: Print to Go: instead of printing paper documents, you 'print' PDFs to your PB wirelessly Jotsy: make notes on PDFs Other apps: ScoreMobile: sports scores/news Facebook: duh MMA News: takes MMA news from 5 or 10 different sites like sherdog, mmajunkie, mma weekly, bloody elbow, etc Convertinator: converts anything like C to F, feet to meters, etc. ANYTHING tho ScratchPad: doodler Poynt: find businesses, etc Cineplex: movie times Vevo: HD music vids |
i'll check out MMA news thanks. personally i like listing of contacts for video chat, and it shows if their pb is online & available for chat. |
Probably going to be a tough but I am looking to sell my Playbook 16GB for $200. Save the tax. PM if anyone is interested. |
After 5 months of debating on getting the Playbook I finally got it. Any must have apps to download? |

scroodle - doodle pad app air browser (though OS2 kinda makes it moot) simplebrowser crackberry - website direct app all i can remember right now. has anyone experienced crashing of their browser after OS2? |
my browser had a crash or 2 right after os2 install but after a few reboots i havent had any issues at all. what im the happiest about is i havent had a single wifi drop since os2. on os1 i couldnt hang onto my wifi signal for more than a few hours at a time. RIM is currently testing an update. word is there will be updates of various sizes monthly. |
Not sure if posted before, But here is an awesome site for side-loading Android apps Good e-Reader Android App Store - Playbook Android App Store - Get the Latest Apps for Playbook, Kobo Vox, Kindle Fire and More |
