when did rim claim to give us apps? youve been bringing this up the last few days already.

they gave an entirely revamped bridge system with nice additions, several native apps (print to go, remote, email, messaging/social hub, app world, android app player).

now its up to third party developers to port their apps over to blackberry. rim cant force them to port it over, hence" third party"

if you still dont understand then i dont know what to say.

Nabatron 02-23-2012 10:25 AM

^^^dont say anything and STFU!!!

They promised a shit load more apps once OS 2.0 hit all on videos on youtube if you are to retarded to look then dont bother!

If you are too retarded to spell, then don't bother!

Nabatron 02-23-2012 10:33 AM

I didnt know this was a spelling contest...on serious note! RIM needs more APPS period!

joquio 02-23-2012 10:35 AM

It seems to me that you are expecting an iPad when you bought the Playbook.....

Tapioca 02-23-2012 11:05 AM

OS 2.0 is snappy, I will say that.

However, I hope they will implement synchronization of contacts and calendars from our phones to the Playbook. I know it does this through our email client, but I rarely use Outlook for maintaining my calendar and contacts. I suppose we could sync out phones with Outlook first and then have our client sync with the Playbook, but that's rather inconvenient.

All the contacts in my phone is synced to Gmail because I'm using an Android phone. Once I set up my Gmail mailbox/account on the Playbook they were all automatically synced to the Playbook's contact too. Was quite surprised by how easy that was. Even Facebook contacts is synced and integrated in the Playbook's contact list. Pretty neat.

The problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck.

Nabatron 02-23-2012 10:31 PM

Dude can you have anymore sand in your vag? If I needed advice in life I would have went to a life coach then listening to some Internet homo. Don't be mad bro just drink more of your life cool aid.

The one thing I find really irritating is typing on the playbook...let's say I made a mistake on one word, it's like impossible to click on that one word...I have to backspace most of the time and rewrite the whole thing

Also, the other thing is browsing...when i scroll up and down on a page to read something, it clicks on random links when i just want to scroll down

Anyone have problems with this?

^^ yeah no doubt that goof had to put his 2 cents trying to defends RIM's dick! He's gotta face the fact the app support for RIM is still not there yet even a year and half later when the PB was released...

Is that happening mostly on RS? Because I have the same problem on my Galaxy Nexus.

Nabatron 02-24-2012 11:30 AM

winson604 02-24-2012 11:33 AM

So I've download and installed OS2 the day it came out and the new changes are nice. However, since installing OS2 the wifi on it has been ubber slow.

When I was downloading OS2 with wifi it went download quickly without issues. After the fact though surfing has been super slow and I've been download and updating apps and they are taking forever. Modern Combat 2 took 3 days to finish download.

I know it's not my modem or anything because I've been playing xbox live on wifi with no issues and using other devices via wifi with zero issues. Any suggestions?

I don't use Google for calendar and contact management. What I'm describing is this:

I save a doctor's appointment on my phone. I want to be able to sync that to my Playbook, but I can't do this unless I create an appointment using an email client such as Outlook or Google. My contacts on my phone also don't sync with the Playbook which means I have to connect both devies to Blackberry Desktop.

One more whiny post from Nabatron, he gets the boot.

It snowed today and now raining. This is not what I moved back to Vancouver for but you don't see me complaining to Mother Nature she needs to shut the fuck up and to give me sun 365 days a year.

Enjoy your 24 points.

Nabatron 02-24-2012 02:54 PM
