Is it me or does the touch screen seem more smooth/sensitive now?

Pooface55 02-21-2012 10:14 PM

Firmware 02-21-2012 10:42 PM

Browser is alot better

_Hotsauce_ 02-21-2012 11:13 PM

There is no Android "app player". Android apps are implemented into AppWorld and just looks like any other BlackBerry app.

terkan 02-22-2012 01:02 AM

damn.. need to find where i put my playbook to update!! it's somewhere in the house =\

i hear people talking about sideloading android apps on to the pb, is that feature still available with OS2?

Nabatron 02-22-2012 09:00 AM

is it me or didnt RIM say there will be a shit load more apps in appworld? to me it looks like a different UI with same old shit apps havent seen anything new in appworld....

Psykopathik 02-22-2012 09:33 AM

new apps still need to be approved etc. just like any store. give it time.

Nabatron 02-22-2012 09:49 AM

believe me Im pretty sure any blackberry customer has been waiting for awhile for RIM to release shit and we are still waiting...

Amuse 02-22-2012 09:52 AM

Android apps!

Nabatron 02-22-2012 09:54 AM

^^^got them both but havent seen these so called android apps!

bobbyhill 02-22-2012 10:47 AM

theyre called third party apps for a reason. rim has no control of when the devs port their apps over.

new bridge is amazing especially with playbook + 55" tv + bb remote

Nabatron 02-22-2012 10:55 AM

so i assume RIM has alot of 3rd party apps then? cuz app selection is still horendous

Nah.. I've seen a lot more of those random useless apps in AppWorld already..

bobbyhill 02-22-2012 12:37 PM

you can stop complaining about apps if you just take a look at sideloading, super simple and theres already 240+ apps converted

Nabatron 02-22-2012 12:45 PM

i dont buy a tablet to sideload! 240+ apps lets get real here!
