Is there a way to play youtube on the browser in a tab on background? Showcase mode doesn't do it.

New 16GB is still going for $200, at the moment. If you're selling, I'd start asking price @ $150, maybe less. The Playbook has been out for more than year, already.

Is there an official answer to why playbook drains battery so fast in sleep mode? My old hp touchpad doesn't do this, nor did ipad 1 and 2.

I am on os 2.0.1.358 newest.

Mine can last for days on sleep mode. What apps do you have open? I remember Run In Crowd sucking up the juice in sleep mode.

No app. Reboot and nothing open just wifi on. Tried to security wipe and see if it helps, read it at crackberry

Can someone with otterbox case tell me how much more bulk does this add? I love the sleekness of playbook but fear to drop its fragile frame and don't want ugly case. I found otterbox for under 30$ on CL

my battery drains fairly fast with wifi on as well. i leave it off and turn it on only when needed and it lasts for days in standby.

I don't use a case or screen protector. The Playbook is an easy shape and size to carry around. The rubber backing helps to keep a good grip, and the gorilla glass keeps scratches off. I tend to clutch it when I carry it around, but I'm also not afraid to grab it by the corner and transport it that way.

no case, the otterbox made the thing weigh twice as much and it became twice as thick, i couldnt carry it around without a bag,

Damn I really regret buying my play book day one when now I could've saved 300 on it.

The only thing I use it for is playing SNES, PSX, and pirating angry bird games, not too much to it and I ended up buying a new iPad last week.

I don't know what to make of it?,, the Release of Nexus 7 and rumor of ipad mini has already further killed the already obsolete Playbook.

I am keeping mine, becuase it fits my needs, but I dont know if bb10 will be the reason for poeple to stick around

It's obsolete? Please tell me what the N7 can do that the playbook can't? Quad Core? Who cares it's a tablet.

The developers and app support arent there. Depend on how you see it. I like my playbook, it has everything i need (mind you I dont care about apps or games, I dont need netflix, skype, I dont need east-asian language input support....etc)

Price slashing from big box stores makes it feel like the end of the road.

Other cons of playbook: long bootup time, wifi drains battery too fast on standby, youtube app is shit.

PRos: screen is good, speaker is great, email and calender and browser is excellent.
