I think in order to root via Dingleberry you have to downgrade the OS right?
The links I found to download older OS are dead. Anyone know of working links?

I'm under the impression that the 2.0.0.6149 can't be rooted and only way to root is downgrade to 2.0.0.486$9

EDIT: NVM, there is an option to download the firmwares once you start dingleberry.

is it connecting to the router and still not have internet?

Its not connecting to the router at all but all my other wifi devices are doing fine. Also it was working fine yesterday.

tried to install this morning and realized i never updated to 1.08 so i did. after it rebooted and no prompt to update to OS2 :yuno:

couldn't find how to force it to search for the update

hopefully the prompt will be there when i get home tonight

Go to your settings by swiping the screen downward and then click on system updates or whatever it's called. Then hit search and it will search for updates.

os2 in and running well.

at first i was a little disappointed but once i figured out how to create new tabs and folders in the home screen ive got it set up nicely. native email and calendar synced with gmail looks good so far too

remote control with bridge 2 is pretty cool too!

anyone figure out any tricks yet? reading crackberry is useless. pages and pages and pages of "how do i install os2?" lol

i sideloaded PocketManga from a .BAT file from Crackberry. however it cannot connect to the server. I copied the files from my Galaxy S2 and dropped them in the Pocketmanga folder on the playbook and i could read my library previously downloaded at least.

All android stuff will be located in misc/android.

Disappointed with 2.0. Selling my 16GB for $160; original box, accessories and receipt. PM me if interested.

If you plug in your playbook and connect it to BlackBerry manager, you can update through there , it is much faster too !
