i've used bestskinsever for all of my devices in the past 2 yrs. They're much cheaper and cutouts are more accurate and cover more surface area than zagg.

Have you guys been noticing any backlight bleed on your iPad 2? Or are these folks just crazy here?

i have a bit of backlight bleed on my white ipad, i think its more of an issue on the white ones due to the white color material. its only a little bit tho and only noticable in black screens or when watching movies. If anything, I have a whole year to take it back to apple for replacement :D

I want to buy an ipad 2 as soon as possible. You guys got any tips for finding them other than craigslist? Apple took down the reserve system. I want a white 16gh wifi or 3g undecided.

Order online or if you want to buy in store just go to Apple Store and ask them first thing in the morning.

They seem to have a few on most days. They may not have the exact color or model you want though.

Has anyone gotten it in Oregon? Going to Portland for the end of the month long weekend. Would like suggestions on which mall to get it from. I did call a store there and they said the availability really depends on the shipments and people lining up.

So last week while i was taking out the garbage i dropped my ipad2 onto a concrete floor in my garage and the glass screen cracked on the top left corner. At that point i pretty much just yelled "FUCK" and almost QQ'd. I called Apple right away and set up a genius appointment with one of the "geniuses" for the next day to see if apple could do anything in terms of replacing it and seeing how much it would cost to fix. I walk into the Pacific center Apple store and showed the guy my broken ipad2 and without asking me what happened he went to the back and got me a brand new one still in shrink wrap. Believe me I jizzed so hard my black ipad2 became white.

I got real lucky and thank you apple for your fantastic customer service once again! For those of you who are still deciding whether or not they should get a playbook vs ipad or mac vs pc, i strongly suggest you to reconsider. I'm pretty sure if you dropped your playbook that will be the end of it.

Apples' warranty/return policy are off the charts and for that i think it is worth buying apple products leaving the technical specs aside.

Apparently they also do replacements for iphones too. Not so sure about laptops cuz i forgot to ask.

i had a stuck power button on my iphone 4, dropped it several times, the guy diagnosed the problem, and gave me a brand new iphone 4 no questions asked.

They did that for my iPhone 4.

I'm not going to lie...I was extremely surprised and impressed at how pain free it was. You go to most stores and you basically have to battle them over it. With Apple it was in and out in 5 minutes.

Yes. I would like to see the Ipad 3 coming out at the end of this year

With all the stiff competition and a slew of other tablets coming out, I wouldn't be surprised if the iPad 3 made an appearance this year. Just imagine an iPad with a retina display, and perhaps widescreen. That would be awesome.

I did the exact same thing with my iPhone. Dropped it on the sidewalk one day. I was ready to sell it and take a $100+ loss to get a new one but then I tried just going to the Apple store and they gave me a new one on the spot.
