was at RC last night around 930, lineup was starting already.

In line at RC right now. I lined up since 10pm last night. My sleep on the sidewalk last night was horrible =/
The security let the lineup flow in at 7:45am and now I'm waiting inside the mall. Hoooooly crap.

How are the lines at best buy on kingsway? Anyone over there?

If you haven't lined up since last night I doubt the chances of getting your hands on one lol the lineup is massive at RC while I believe Bestbuy/Futureshop will have really limited stock.

i'm gonna check out BB/FS later around 3 pm and see how crazy it is over there. Also heading to pacific center later tonight but pre sure they won't have any left.

Honestly, this is going to be like the iphone 4 launch. People are going to wait every morning to buy this. What makes this worse IMO is everyone is looking for the wifi only ipads. At least for the iphone 4, you have people who went to the carrier directly for it.

The 2-3 weeks isn't that long. For the iphone 4, it was actually shipped AND delivered within 3 weeks. If you order now, I'm sure you get it even earlier. (I ordered my iphone 1.5 week after the launch.

I just checked the apple site. It's now 3-4 weeks. I bought mine last night and it was saying 2-3 weeks.

I don't know about that...everyone wanted the iPhone 4 but not everyone wants/needs a tablet.

lol me and some friends went to eat yesterday at 4am timmys @ rc and we saw atleast 30 people in line

Then we purposely drove past bb/fs and there were less than 10 there.

The amount of money ppl may make to flip iPads they can probably make more working a real job instead of standing 20 hours waiting in line.

There's 20 people at cambie bestbuy and 30 at Richmond.... I gave up so I'm selling my bestbuy credit lol

No one going to london drugs here? Lol
I got all my cash ready and was considering getting one the whole night lol..
So indecisive right now.. I really want one yet if I do get one ill have 2 iPhone 4's (one which isn't mine), a iPod touch 4 and 3 and a iPad 2.. I think I'm just gonna sell my iPod or iPhone first or wait for untethered jailbreak on 4.3.1 before I get an iPad 2.. Walking towards Victoria and 41st London drugs right now and I'll let you guy know about the lineup

London drugs got very little shipment. Like 10 the most in each store.
Mostly high end model I checked.

New west ld has more people than when they are carrying and people still lined up hoping ppl not getting what they wanted and give up

^ why don't you order one from the apple site and then maybe try you luck at a retail.
If you manage to get one today or in a few days then cancel your order. if not then at least you'll have one coming in from the factory

Whats the line up like at BB/FS(other locations besides Vancouver/Richmond)

Standing in line at metrotown futureshop. 30 people in line and the guy says everyone in line so far will get an iPad. But he does not guarantee the model they have in the end are the ones you want. Not too bad considering that they start selling in 1.5 hours.

In general, which model has the best resell value, say half a year from now? I don't mean buying it right now and flipping it.

Also, is there any difference between buying it at the Apple store and from BB/FS, in terms of customer service (ie. returns, refunds, problems with the product, etc.)

Feel bad for all those people standing in line hoping to resell....
