seems like $24/lb from most places. did a pre order early on for 10% off

whitev70r 05-10-2023 03:33 PM

prob a tad too early ... they tend to be small at the beginning of the season, no? Wait a week or two.

lilaznviper 05-10-2023 05:03 PM

i think they only are in for 2 weeks. starting next week. I get them from bcspotprawns in ladnar every year and they are pretty good sized one. usually i get them the first weekend they have them.

Ladner Wharf is $55 for 2lb according to my email

Not sure how the pricing is in person

$29 at 88 today. They looked pretty big. Didn't buy as I was just grabbing a sub for lunch.

Mikoyan 05-20-2024 02:58 PM

East Van peeps: Teemway meat/seafood Victoria/51st.
$28/lb or $25 3lbs or more.

pherio 05-22-2025 01:05 PM

$24/lb @ T&T this season.
Hilariously if you put a postal code out of BC it came up as $49/lb

yray 05-23-2025 09:53 AM

bought some from coldfish @ $23/lb to make some drunk shrimp

it was meh, not fresh enough

winson604 05-27-2025 08:31 AM

Got some from Sungiven on Sunday via pre order on the app which is slightly cheaper than just walking in. I think it was $23.99 vs $24.99. One of their biggest sells is they are put into these oxygen filled bags which will keep them alive in there for a long period of time vs not. I usually grab from them once each season for easy sake and no lineups. The prawns were good in terms of freshness, size wise more on the smaller side.
