I went into RBC and asked for a USD draft payable to VBCE.

They said they don't issue USD drafts anymore.

So then I asked how do I get my money. She said they can order USD cash for me, it takes 3 business days.

So then I just asked if she could match VBCE's rate. She checked the computer for the "best rate" she can offer and it was better than VBCE.

Worked out great. Made a few extra dollars and didn't have to deal with the hassle of going to VBCE.

Side note, i'm starting to hate RBC more and more.

I was looking at another car forum, someone with same car and tire size as me said he got $900 cad all in for these defender 2s at costco. Kaltire, CT, and dealerships all quoted me $1200 - 1300 which is quite a significant difference, so wanted to find out if it's true.

Doesn’t Costco usually also get special versions of tires that the model # is like 1 number or letter off so they can say it’s not technically the same tire? Best Buy does this a lot with TV’s too.
